The Romantic Pact by Meghan Quinn was just as the title suggests, romantic to its very core! The story was a big beating heart set in a winter wonderland that had us swept up in wonderful picturesque scenery with a warm and joyous Christmas atmosphere. We fell in love with love and we fell in love with Crew and Hazel. But above all, we fell in love with Pops.
The premise is incredibly emotional and inspiring, and its beauty is in the words and voice of Crewβs grandad, Pops, who sadly passed away. Meghan Quinn is quite the beautiful storyteller. Whilst we laughed, swooned, and revelled in the beauty of Christmas in Germany, we certainly shed quite a lot of tears as well. The adventure we went on with Crew and Hazel was breath-taking at times, it was passionate, intense, and incredibly angsty too.
