Paneer Pakoda Recipe:
Paneer (strips) – 400 gms
Salt – ½ tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Batter :
Besan – ½ Cup
Rice Flour – 2 tbsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Asafoetida – A Pinch
Water – ½ Cup
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
Ajwain – ½ tsp
Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
Baking Soda – A Pinch
Cooking Instructions:
1. Marinate the paneer strips with lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste.
2. To make the batter, combine the besan and rice flour, add the turmeric, asafoetida, ajwain and red chilli powder.
3. Add water and salt whisk a smooth and lump-free batter. Add a pinch of baking soda.
4. Dip the paneer in the batter and deep fry in medium hot oil until golden and crispy.
5. Sprinkle with chaat masala.
