With VisionQuest right around the corner, Marvel has made the first episode of a prequel show available online for free. Fans can watch the first episode of WandaVision on Marvel Entertainment’s official YouTube channel.

VisionQuest is the third and final entry in the trilogy that began with WandaVision. The show follows Wanda Maximoff and Vision living in idealized suburban life in the town of Westview following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The second entry in the trilogy was Agatha All Along, which follows a powerless Agatha Harkness walking down the Witches’ Road alongside Billy Kaplan, who is revealed to be the reincarnation of Wanda and Vision’s son, Billy Maximoff.

The final entry in the trilogy, VisionQuest, will follow White Vision, the version of Vision whose original body was reconstructed and reactivated by S.W.O.R.D. in WandaVision.

The episode offers a timely refresher before VisionQuest arrives

WandaVision was Marvel Studios’ first original series for Disney+. It was the first project on streaming to directly connect to the MCU. The show premiered more than five years ago. Since then, Marvel Studios has released numerous projects, many of which have focused on other characters and storylines.

Making a free episode available not only gives viewers a chance to revisit the series but also refreshes their memories ahead of VisionQuest. Beyond WandaVision, fans may also want to revisit Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film chronicles Vision’s creation and depicts his last major confrontation with Ultron.

Besides Paul Bettany as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, VisionQuest also stars Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, whose identity is connected to Tommy Maximoff, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Tony Stark’s AI assistant, and James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S.

The show will premiere on October 14, with its first two episodes reportedly dropping together before the series continues weekly.
