Burnt Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe | Spicy Veg Noodles | Chef Sanjyot Keer
Full written recipe for Burnt chilli garlic noodles
Prep time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Serves: 4
For boiling noodles
Ingredients:
• Noodles 1 packet (raw)
• Water for boiling
• Salt to taste
• Oil 1 tbsp
Methods:
• Set a wok filled with water for boiling, add salt to taste and oil, mix and bring to a roaring boil.
• Add the raw noodles and Once the noodles separate from each other switch off the flame. let the noodles set in hot water for 2-3 minutes.
• Strain it out from boiling water and quickly refresh them with cold water.
• Drizzle oil and coat the noodles well, to avoid it from sticking. Keep aside for later use.
For red chilli paste
Ingredients:
• Kashmiri red chillies 8-10 nos.
• Hot water for soaking
Methods:
• Soak the Kashmiri red chilli in hot water for 101-5 minutes. Allow it cool down.
• Once cooled, transfer to a mixer grinder and make a fine paste, add some water to grind it well.
For making noodles
Ingredients:
• Oil 2 tbsp
• Garlic 3 tbsp (chopped)
• Ginger 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Red chillies 4-5 nos. (roughly broken)
• Red chilli paste 3 tbsp
• Green chilli paste 2 tsp
• Green chillies 2-3 nos. (sliced)
• Veggies:
1. Onions 1/3rd cup (sliced)
2. Carrots 1/3rd cup (julienned)
3. Red bell pepper 1/3rd cup (julienned)
4. Yellow bell pepper 1/3rd cup (julienned)
5. Capsicum 1/3rd cup (julienned)
6. Cabbage ½ cup (shredded)
• Soy sauce 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• White pepper powder a pinch
• Aromat powder a pinch (optional)
• Sugar a pinch
• Boiled noodles/chowmein
• Spring onions greens & bulbs 1/3rd cup
• Fresh coriander leaves a handful
• Vinegar 1 tsp
• Spring onion greens for garnish
Methods:
• Set a wok on medium heat, add oil, chopped garlic & ginger, cook them for 1-2 minutes.
• Add the red chillies and cook until the chillies and garlic start to turn brown.
• Further add red chilli paste and cook until the oil separates. Increase the flame to high heat, to get the evident burnt flavour.
• Now add, green chillies, green chilli paste, veggies
• Now, add the veggies, soy sauce, salt & pepper, aromat powder & sugar, sauté them on high flame for 1-2 minutes.
• Tip: you can add MSG or aromat powder for the extra flavour.
• Add the boiled noodles, spring onions greens & bulbs, fresh coriander and vinegar, stir & toss well on high flame for a minute.
• Add soy sauce, green chilli paste, red chilli sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, salt & white pepper powder to taste and sugar, toss well for a minute.
• Burnt garlic chilli noodles are ready, serve it immediately with schezwan sauce and garnish some spring onion greens.

Genera+ion: HBO Max Previews Dramedy Series’ Return (Watch) – canceled + renewed TV shows

Genera+ion is returning for the second half of its first season next month. HBO Max has released a preview teasing the return of the dramedy which stars Nathanya Alexander, Chloe East, Nava Mau, Lukita Maxwell, Haley Sanchez, Uly Schlesinger, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Chase Sui Wonders with Justice Smith and Martha Plimpton.
HBO Max revealed more about the return of Genera+ion in a press release.
“On THURSDAY, JUNE 17, the Max Original dramedy GENERA+ION returns to HBO Max with three new episodes. The series continues with two episodes on June 24, two episodes on July 1 and one episode on July 8. These eight new episodes complete the sixteen-episode first season. GENERA+ION is a dark yet playful half-hour series following a diverse group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.”

Hello, earthlings. Spotted this week on the World Wide Web: the trailer for The Eternals, the highly-anticipated Marvel film directed by Chloé Zhao, finally dropped and it gave fans of the Marvel Universe and movies in general plenty to look forward to come November—the first two things being Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie playing goddesses/aliens/heroes…? The trailer doesn’t give much away, except it reveals a full look at the marvelous new group of characters and worlds captured by Zhao, including a few Interview faves like Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Madden. The cast also includes Gemma Chan, Lauren Ridloff, and Kit Harington. Bennifer, The Hottest Couple Right Now, Make Diddy Act Petty
You know by now there’s nothing we love more than drama on the internet, and the resurgence of Bennifer—the legendary couple made up of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez—has sent us all. The comments section has been nothing short of delicious. After Jenny from The Block cut that baseball player out of her life, she sent that “U up?” text to an ex, and Affleck, it is fair to assume, had been up. (Relatable icon.) Bennifer fever hit a peak this week when, out of left, field (er, no pun intended, A-Rod), P. Diddy—another famous ex of Lopez’s—posted a throwback Tuesday picture of the pair. His level of pettiness (or is he shooting his shot?) sent the entire internet on a seismic spiral, and we’re still recovering, tbh. The way these celebrity happenings get our blood running is inexplicable. Something important to note here: the curious revival of early aughts-style paparazzi shots of celebrities doing things, like these images of Bennifer stretching and smoking. Or these, where J. Lo looks very happy about something. We think we know what it is, but you know what happens to people who assume. Needless to say, we ship Bennifer hardcore. They’re so chaotically hot together. Like, please.

Spotted: The Hottes Thruple in Hollywood
Speaking of the paps, they recently spotted one curious trio: Tessa Thompson, Taika Waititi, and Rita Ora happily making out, canoodling, and sipping on what look like mimosas. Yes, all three of them together, not entirely kissing at the same time—though we’d sort of pay to see that. In what the internet dubbed as an “I know what a bender looks like” moment, the Hollywood stars were caught sharing a moment of intimacy after a night out in Los Angeles. The pictures, which quickly set the internet ablaze, are just another sign that Mother Nature is healing, and thruples are the hot thing for summer—especially if they are as unexpected as this one. Let’s admit it: we’re all a little (very) horny.

Just when we thought hot girl summer couldn’t get any hotter, HBO Max announced July 8th as the premiere date for the Gossip Girl reboot, with a trailer that’s equal parts intriguing and sexy. Literally everyone is excited for this reboot—come on, you know you love it. It helps that the new cast is hot, inclusive, and… did we mention hot? The show stars Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak, and Savannah Lee Smith. The trailer, in classic Upper East Side fashion, shows the teenagers acting not so much like teenagers and wearing fabulous clothing, of course. Remember, Gossip Girl is watching. And so are we. Cooler Beer & American Whiskey
Keeping it classic, Soulbelly BBQ’s beer and cocktail program features American beers like Lone Star and Shiner, alongside locally brewed Nevada beers from neighboring downtown Las Vegas and Henderson breweries. Most notably, HUDL Brewing, Soulbelly BBQ’s next-door neighbor, is specially brewing the Charred & Shifty – an American red made with Garrison Brothers Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey barrel ashes in the mash.
Putting the Soulbelly spin on classic cocktails, the menu is dressed with sips including an Old Fashioned and Mint Julip, beside twists like the Sweet Tea Sangria and the Lunch Box – a blend of beer, Amaretto and orange juice. The restaurant’s solid whiskey and bourbon selection is currently at 37 bottles strong.
A Garage With Rustic Soul
Bringing Chef Kalman’s vision to life, this former automotive garage turned restaurant was carefully designed to reflect and honor the culture surrounding American BBQ. Paying homage to the bones of the building, Kalman kept subtle details and accents like tying in an original half royal blue painted wall. Murals on each side of the space showcase iconic figures like the Queen of Texas BBQ and pitmaster Tootsie Tomanetz, alongside quintessential southern musicians like Koko Taylor and Buddy Guy.
Live Music
Again tying in Kalman’s love for music, the back of the restaurant has a 16-by-8 foot stage, which will soon become home to live musicians from both Las Vegas and beyond. A few special accent features include Soulbelly BBQ’s mascot, an antique metal pig now named “Lambchop,” and the vintage beverage cooler parked near the front of the restaurant, which houses the canned and bottled beverage selection.

Patrons can take a part of Soulbelly BBQ home as the restaurant will have stylish wear from “Will Work for Brisket” shirts to logoed hats and more. Bottled sauces and rubs as well as Chef Kalman’s BK Brinery pickles will also be available for purchase.

Patrisse Cullors Steps Down As Head Of Black Lives Matter Foundation
Patrisse Cullors is stepping down as executive director of the Black Lives Matter Foundation., six years after co-founding the human rights movement that shares the same name.
“I’ve created the infrastructure and the support, and the necessary bones and foundation, so that I can leave. It feels like the time is right, ” she told The Associated Press, noting that her decision was not due to accusations she was profiting from the Black Lives Matter Foundation. “Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don’t operate off of what the right thinks about me.”
In April, the New York Post published property records showing Cullors’ real estate holdings, including three homes in Southern California and a ranch in Georgia. The findings spread like wildfire among conservative news outlets, many of which insinuated Cullors had been profiting from the organization, which raised $90 million last year.
According to the AP, Cullors was the target of attack from right wing publications that falsely reported she was taking a large salary from the BLM Foundation and had purchased a large home in California.

An April 13 statement from Black Lives Matter’s official Twitter account read, “Patrisse Cullors is the Executive Director of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF). She serves in this role in a volunteer capacity and does not receive a salary or benefits,” BLM stated via it’s official Twitter handle. “Patrisse has received a total of $120,000 since the organization’s inception in 2013, for duties such as serving as spokesperson and engaging in political education work. Patrisse did not receive any compensation after 2019.”
The statement continued, “To be abundantly clear, as a registered 501(c)(3), BLMGNF cannot and did not commit any organizational resources toward the purchase of personal property by any employee or volunteer. Any insinuation or assertion to the contrary is categorically false.”
Cullors, 37, also said that she does not receive a salary or benefits from Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, and that her revenue stems from teaching, speaking engagements and artistic endeavors outside of BLM.
Her departure comes at a time when the BLM movement has garnered global support in the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breanna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks and other Black people who died at the hands of police or because of vigilantism. She co-founded the movement along with Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.
Cullors stated the interim senior executives will be Monifa Bandele, a BLM organizer and founder of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement in New York City, and Makani Themba, a longtime supporter of the BLM movement and chief strategist at Higher Ground Change Strategies in Jackson, Mississippi.
Pretty Boy Detective Club English Dub Comes to Funimation Tomorrow
The Pretty Boy Detective Club English dub is upon us and is officially making its debut on the anime streaming service Funimation.
According to Funimation, the first episode of the Pretty Boy Detective Club English dub will be arriving on the streamer on May 29. The anime series hails from studio SHAFT and is part of a collaborative effort between Funimation, Aniplex of America, and Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

The Pretty Boy Detective Club anime follows Mayumi Dojima, a young girl in search of a star she had seen ten years ago. In order to solve the mystery, she visits the Pretty Boy Detective Club to begin her quest alongside the five pretty boy investigators.
Pretty Boy Detective Club began as a Japanese mystery novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Kinako. Published by Kodansha, the series received a total of twelve volumes since it released in 2015.
