Salvatore Biundo is the owner of Italian eatery Centro Trattoria & Bar, the ultimate farm-to-fork Italian restaurant in Hampton Bays. Known for a stellar reputation in the community and popular video cooking segments, Biundo and his restaurant has become the stuff of legend for foodies who flock to eat at this landmark venue. They admire the style here as equally as they have at his other well-known restaurant ventures in Long Island.
Centro Trattoria & Bar serves dinner daily with all menu items made in house using many of the East End’s local, in season produce. Family recipes including fresh homemade pasta, individual pizzas from a wood burning oven and dishes with Mediterranean touches can be experienced in the new outdoor setting, as well as the luxurious indoor dining room that currently holds a 76-person capacity per current CDC guidelines.
Menu highlights include Antipasti selections of Clams Oreganata, Grilled Octopus, Fried Goat Cheese, Mussels, Fried Sicilian Baby Artichokes, Fritto Misto, Nonna’s Meatballs, Crispy Zucchini Chips and Antipasto Classico for Two. Enjoy fresh Insalates such as Caesar Salad, Calamari Salad, Arugula & Apple Salad, and an array of mouthwatering pizzas with your choice of Margherita, Braised Short Rib, Sweet Italian Sausage, Prosciutto and Centro Rustica.

Pasta entrées dazzle customers with renowned items of Bucatini Pomodoro, Orecchiette, Pappardelle Bolognese, Cavatelli Carbonara, Short Rib Fusilli Napilatano, Parmigiana di Melanzane and Spaghettini Pescatore. Plates may also be altered with dietary needs with whole wheat pasta and gluten free pasta.
And, to complement a special meal exquisite Pesce, Carne and Pollo add to your ultimate dining experience. Guests sing high praises for plates of Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Scaloppine or Shrimp Saltimbocca.
The bar boasts a craft cocktail menu with drinks infused with basil, mint and rosemary grown on site. An extensive wine list compliments plates and tastes with wines by the glass, which allows customers to sample wines from all regions, or bottles from the glass wine cellar.

Norman Reedus & AMC Developing Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill! TV Show
The cult film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is getting adapted into a television series with the help of Norman Reedus and AMC Studios.
According to Deadline, Reedus’ bigbaldhead production company and AMC Studios are in the early stages of development for the Faster, Pussycat! series. While it will adapt the film’s wild tale, it will focus on its strong female cast and its disruption of societal norms. Under the two-year first-look deal Reedus signed with the network, the project is fully backed by the estate of Russ Meyer, who directed the original film.

“I’ve been watching Russ Meyer’s film since I was a kid, wearing my Faster, Pussycat! Kill Kill! shirt to school,” says Reedus. “It’s safe to say I’m beyond inspired by Russ’ style of filmmaking and I am over the moon excited for the opportunity to reimagine this story for the modern world.”
Reedus serves as executive producer alongside bigbaldhead’s JoAnne Colonna and Amanda Verdon. The sole trustee of the Russ Meyer Charitable Trust Janice Cowart will also serve as EP for the upcoming. Faster, Pussycat series.
“I hit it off with bigbaldhead right away,” says Cowart. “I am convinced this team is special and can be entrusted to honor Russ Meyer’s iconic film. I am more than excited to collaborate with them alongside AMC.”

Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is an exploitation film directed by Meyer and co-written by Jack Moran. It follows a trio of go-go dancers as they go on a killing spree in the California desert. It stars Tura Satana, Haji, Lori Williams, and Susan Bernard. While it was critically panned during its initial release, it has reached cult status and is highly praised.
Reedus is most known for his role as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead. The final season of the popular AMC show will premiere in August. A television spinoff featuring Daryl and Melissa McBride’s Carol Peletier is scheduled for a 2023 debut.
Flux Pavilion becomes a dad!
Flux Pavilion welcomed a child into the world this past weekend, as he shared the news on social media.
The named they gave is Boudicea, which, based on a quick Google search, probably comes from the British folk hero who led an uprising against the conquering forces of the Roman Empire in AD 60 or 61. A very strong name indeed!
Typically, Flux has kept his personal life rather private. But on such a special occasion, a post is more than warranted.
