Will the third season of the Genius TV show on National Geographic Channel do justice to the story of Aretha Franklin? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Genius is cancelled or renewed for season four. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the third season episodes of Genius: Aretha here.
A National Geographic Channel anthology series, Genius dramatizes the stories of the world’s most brilliant innovators, their extraordinary achievements and their sometimes volatile, passionate, and complex personal relationships. Season three tells the story of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, and stars Cynthia Erivo, Courtney B. Vance, Malcolm Barrett, David Cross, Patrice Covington, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Steven Norfleet, Pauletta Washington, Omar J. Dorsey, Marque Richardson, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, and Shaian Jordan. The season follows the musical genius and her incomparable career, as well as the impact and lasting influence she has had on music and culture around the world. The CW’s Walker 1.08 promo & synopsis: Fine Is A Four Letter Word
The CW has released the official promo and synopsis for Walker 1.08 titled “Fine Is A Four Letter Word,” featuring a rescue mission as a tornado touches down in Austin. The series is going on another brief hiatus and will return with new episodes on Thursday, April 8 on The CW!
Written by Katherine Alyse and directed by Stacey K. Black, the official synopsis for Episode 1.08 reads:
“A tornado touches down in Austin and it’s all hands on deck to keep the kids and community safe. Walker (Jared Padalecki), Micki (Lindsey Morgan) and Trey (Jeff Pierre) rush to the school where Stella (Violet Brinson), August (Kale Culley) and Ruby (guest star Madelyn Kientz) are at a school dance. Bonham (Mitch Pileggi) and Abeline (Molly Hagan) stop at a store for supplies where old memories resurface and the two are forced to discuss their marriage. Meanwhile, Liam (Keegan Allen) and Bret (guest star Alex Landi) get trapped in an elevator and everything Liam has been carrying on his shoulders gets the best of him and he makes a rash decision.”

Walker stars Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) as Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home.
He’ll attempt to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son, Arlo (Kale Culley, Me, Myself and I) and his headstrong, somewhat rebellious teenaged daughter, Stella (Violet Brinson, Sharp Objects) and navigate clashes with his family – an ADA brother, Liam (Keegan Allen, Pretty Little Liars) who stepped in during Walker’s absence, his perceptive mother, Abeline (Molly Hagen, Herman’s Head) and his traditional rancher father, Bonham (Mitch Pileggi, The X-Files). Walker’s former colleague is now his Ranger Captain Larry James (Coby Bell, Third Watch). Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner, Micki Ramirez (one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history) played by Lindsey Morgan, The 100), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife, Emily’s (Genevieve Padalecki, Supernatural) death.

The series is written and executive produced by Anna Fricke (Being Human, Valor), and executive produced by Dan Lin and Lindsay Liberatore, and Jared Padalecki. Walker is from CBS Television Studios in association with Rideback.
HNTR, the Toronto-based techno force previously known as Hunter Seigel, takes his technology-driven moniker to new heights with his latest EP. Mind Gamesand its accompanying crpytoart collection, the HNTR x No Neon Genesis Collection, marks the producer’s second major release following his 2020 endeavor, I Might Forgive, I Don’t Forget.
The release of the EP is prefaced by the debut of its leading singles, “Mind Games” and “The Odyssey.”“Inception” and “Infinity” round out the four-track album which features a variety of sounds, including swirling snyth lines and dark, industrial warehouse beats.
The theme of the album invites listeners to contemplate the digital world we live in. HNTR describes the project’s concept, saying:
In 2021 we live entirely in an alternate cyber reality, connected but disconnected. When making Mind Games, I wanted the EP to take you on a journey through our perception of our place in the universe as it relates to our association with technology. The vocals on each track and the accompanying melody are meant to tell a story of that journey from the beginning of the odyssey to the end of infinity. – HNTR
The NFT collection offers a visual experience to accompany the album’s leading tracks, “Mind Games” and “The Odyssey.” HNTR partnered with creatives at his No Neon label to create the works, which depict a man trapped in cyberspace.

A day after the release of Chemtrails Over the Country Club, Lana Del Rey has another release ready to roll. In an Instagram post (which you can see below), the singer-songwriter announced that more music is on the way. Titled Rock Candy Sweet, Del Rey says that it’s due out on June 1. It would be her eighth studio album.
Additionally, in an Instagram Story (which you can see below, but is a bit hard to read since the writing is in red and over another article), Del Rey said that Rock Candy Sweet will continue to hit back at her critics who she says accused her of building her career on “cultural appropriation and glamorizing domestic abuse” and “continue to challenge those thoughts.”

Late last year, Del Rey said she was working on an album of traditional songs. Last year, she released a version of George Gershwin’s 1935 song “Summertime.” Also last year, Del Rey shared a cover of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” which is also the anthem of Liverpool FC. That version was made popular by Gerry and the Pacemakers in the 1960s.
