0

The Walking Dead TV show on AMC: season 10 viewer votes (cancel or renew?)Who won’t survive in the 10th season of The Walking Dead TV show on AMC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Walking Dead is cancelled or renewed for season 11. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the 10th season episodes of The Walking Dead here. *Status update below.

An AMC zombie apocalypse drama based on the Robert Kirkman comics, season 10 of The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Khary Payton, Cooper Andrews, Avi Nash, Callan McAuliffe, Nadia Hilker, Eleanor Matsuura, Lauren Ridloff, Cailey Fleming, Samantha Morton, Cassady McClincy, and Ryan Hurst. The story started 10 years ago with one man trying to find his family. That family grew and gradually communities took shape. They fought and survived, thrived and gave birth to a new generation. The 10th season picks back up with the group in Oceanside as they continue to train in case The Whisperers return. Tensions are high as the heroes struggle to hold onto their concept of civilization.

What do you think? Which season 10 episodes of The Walking Dead TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Are you glad that The Walking Dead on AMC has been renewed for an 11th season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.

*9/9/20 update: AMC has announced that The Walking Dead will end with an extended 11th season.

A number of other professionals have also weighed in on Goop’s health advice. He did, however, recommend against overeating and eating non-processed foods.

D’Angelo’s VERZUZ: Here’s What Happened | Pitchfork

0

Tonight (February 27), D’Angelo headlined a VERZUZ event live from the Apollo Theater, taking the stage as a solo performer with DJ Scratch with other collaborators. Take a look via Instagram or Apple Music.

D’Angelo’s set broke from the typical VERZUZ format: its events have so far been one-on-one battles with occasional surprise guests, like Dionne Warwick dropping in on Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle last year. Noting the change of style, he opened with new material joined by trumpeter Keyon Harrold before covering Smokey Robinson’s “Cruisin’.” Method Man and Redman came out for “Left & Right” before Method Man took the lead for “Break Ups 2 Make Ups.”

After working through a few tracks from 2014’s Black Messiah, D’Angelo noted that he’d gotten his professional start after winning an amateur night competition at the Apollo as a teenager. The 2019 documentary Devil’s Pie claimed that he’s been working on the follow-up to Black Messiah. D’Angelo continued through his catalog, running through favorites from Voodoo and Brown Sugar like “One Mo’ Gin,” “Jonz in My Bonz,” and “Another Life.”

After “Brown Sugar,” H.E.R. came out onstage, first performing her Daniel Caesar collaboration “Best Part” before the pair duetted on Lauryn Hill’s “Nothing Even Matters.” He closed his set with “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” keeping on his oversize fur coat throughout.

Nadia Lee Cohen Answers a Few Questions from Andy Warhol

0

The photographer Nadia Lee Cohen  recently published Women through Idea Books, with a second print arriving in March. Six years in the making, it’s Cohen’s first monograph and includes 100 portraits, each of which nods to hyper-surrealist pop iconography.

As part of the virtual book fair that Dover Street Market New York is hosting from February 24-28, Cohen sat down and answered a few pressing queries from our Andy Warhol Questionnaire.

Peter Luger Is Filling Its Dining Room With Wax Figures

Eleven months into the pandemic, it has become clear that saving restaurants will require extreme measures. They are doubling down on takeout. They are becoming grocery stores. They are building chalets in the snow. They are, after almost a year, still begging for industry-specific aid. The good people of Peter Luger, though, have another idea.

The idea is: wax figures of famous people.

Starting tomorrow, New York City restaurants will be allowed to increase their indoor occupancy to 35 percent. That leaves 65 percent of the space unoccupied.

Or does it? The 35 percent capacity rule only applies to actual people. There are no stipulations at all about wax people, which is why, according to a press release, the “iconic steakhouse” has partnered with Madame Tussauds to “fill empty seats” with wax replicas of celebrities. “Diners are invited to toast with Jon Hamm at the bar, enjoy a moment of elegance with Audrey Hepburn, or share a laugh with Jimmy Fallon,” explains the press release, promising an “an unforgettable dining experience.” I believe this. I would never forget this dining experience, not in my waking life or in my dreams.

Don’t worry: Al Roker will also be there “waiting to direct diners to the second floor.” All he can do is wait. That is because he is made of wax.

Peter Luger is not the first restaurant to experiment with pretend customers. In May, the Michelin-starred Inn at Little Washington, outside D.C., reopened with an “irreverent” coterie of mannequins dressed in 1940s garb. A pizza restaurant in Michigan draped its empty seats with bedsheet ghosts. But this is groundbreaking: Wax Audrey almost never shows up anywhere.

Despite the fact that they cannot move of their own volition, the special guest will only be around for a short time. If you would like to toast Jon Hamm, you’ll need to do it before March 1.
