Godzilla vs Kong Release Date Moves Up Two Months!

Godzilla vs Kong release date moves up two months!

After Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment struck a deal to keep Godzilla vs Kong as a day-and-date theatrical and HBO Max release on May 21, they have now moved the release date up! The new Godzilla vs Kong release date is March 26, 2021, where it will have zero competition. No Time to Die was expected to open the following week, but is now reportedly looking to vacate its April 2 release date.

The epic action-adventure Godzilla vs Kong will pit two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another — the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong — with humanity caught in the balance.

The film stars Alexander SkarsgÄrd (Big Little Lies, The Little Drummer Girl), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Rebecca Hall (Christine, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta, Widows), Shun Oguri (Gintama), Eiza Gonzålez (Baby Driver), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), and Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2). Also starring in the highly-anticipated movie are Kyle Chandler (The Wolf of Wall Street, Manchester by the Sea) and Demiån Bichir (The Nun, The Hateful Eight).

The fourth installment in Warner Bros.’ Pictures and Legendary’s Monsterverse is directed by Adam Wingard from a script written by Oscar nominee Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean, Deja Vu, Shrek). The film is being produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, and Brian Rogers, with Kenji Okuhira, Yoshimitsu Banno, Jon Jashni and Thomas Tull serving as executive producers. Jay Ashenfelter, Jen Conroy and Tamara Kent are co-producers.

The most recent film in Legendary’s MonsterVerse, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, hit theaters last summer. It ended with Godzilla taking his rightful place as the ruler of all Titans. Unfortunately, the movie was a financial disappointment, grossing only $385.9 million against a budget estimated to be as high as $200 million.

Godzilla vs. Kong was originally set to hit theaters in May 2020 (before the global pandemic) and then on November 20, 2020.

Steve Aoki & k?d Team Up For Hard Dance Bombshell, “BIB”

0

Steve Aoki is never at a loss for content, and as he continues on his 6OKI campaign, the latest drop is an absolute heater with k?d, “BIB.”

The last -OKI EP was number 5 back in 2018. Since then, he’s also dropped his newest studio album, Neon Future IV. But the grind never stops and this one is an absolute must-add to any hardcore raver’s repertoire.

Steve Aoki says, “My 6OKI – Rave Royale EP campaign continues with the second single; this one is with k?d and we are calling it ‘BIB.’ I’ve been a fan of k?d for a while, as I really think he is making some of the most exciting hard dance music in the world right now. ‘BIB’ pulsates with so much energy from the jump, that k?d and I were literally jumping up and down over FaceTime while making this track. We hope you all can feel that same energy too as we proceed with our Rave Royale!”

k?d adds, “Steve and I have been talking about collabing for a long time. We did a tour run together in Europe and wanted to make something that would go off live.”

“BIB” follows Aoki’s acclaimed Timmy Trumpet collaboration “Tarantino” (feat. STARX). Both singles are part of his upcoming six-track rave EP, 6OKI – Rave Royale, out January 22 via Dim Mak. Check out “BIB” below!

Midtown Tampa’s Sal Y Mar Rooftop Bar Announces Executive Appointments

16

Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company today announced the appointment of Stephanie Bisogne, Executive Chef, and Ivan Puente, Director of Food & Beverage, at the Sal Y Mar Rooftop Bar. The two are key additions to the executive team at Sal Y Mar, the stylish new rooftop lounge that will sit atop the highly anticipated dual-branded Aloft and Element Hotel opening in Midtown Tampa later this month.

“We’re pleased to welcome these two outstanding professionals to the Sal Y Mar team, as we prepare for our January opening,” said Evette Torres, Dual General Manager for Aloft and Element Hotel. “Stephanie and Ivan each bring their own unique perspective and expertise, and will play vital roles in the overall success of Sal Y Mar.”

Executive Chef Stephanie Bisogne will direct daily culinary operations at Sal Y Mar, the hotel’s signature rooftop bar. Bisogne has been an Executive Chef for Concord Hospitality for four years, most recently at Embassy Suites Charlotte Uptown. Prior to that, she was a Sous Chef for Marriott International. Bisogne attended Johnson & Wales for her Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Beverage Management. She also completed a hotel hospitality study abroad program in Sarria, Spain, and traveled to several European countries while abroad. Bisogne and her family have relocated to Tampa Bay and look forward to finding and exploring several new hiking locations in Florida.

As the newly appointed Dual Director of Food & Beverage, Ivan Puente will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage planning and services, including menu development, and the preparation and presentation of food and drinks. Most recently Puente served as Senior Food and Beverage Manager for Terrace Restaurant and The Rooftop at Exchange Place in Jersey City, New Jersey, where, as part of the leadership team, he was responsible for all food and beverage operations for the prestigious neighborhood two level rooftop venue. Puente has a wealth of hospitality experience, including the Sambuca Restaurant and Lawless Spirits and Kitchen in Houston, Texas, under Expert Restaurant Management Group. Puente attended Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Political Science and Pre-Law Studies degree.

Inspired by the Riviera Maya town of Tulum, Sal Y Mar’s (Salt and Sea) casual yet sophisticated vibe will add a unique flavor to the mix of dining offerings in Midtown Tampa, with a setting and menu rich in old-world influence. Easily accessible from a dedicated elevator on the hotel’s ground floor, the rooftop lounge will offer 4,900 square feet of indoor and outdoor seating, including a covered terrace and drink rails lining the perimeter. With 360-degree views of the Tampa, Westshore, and St. Petersburg skylines, Sal Y Mar will offer an unconventional rooftop experience, where guests of the new hotel can mingle effortlessly with residents and neighbors against an unrivaled backdrop. The dual-branded Aloft and Element property will feature 226 rooms and is expected to open January 2021.

Get to know the author – 60 Seconds with Kayley

TBB: Do you have a nickname? If so, what is it?
KL:   Apparently, autocorrect likes to call me Kayley Losing. So that’s ducking awesome.

TBB: Early Bird or Night owl?
KL:  Early Bird in the summer, Night Owl in the winter.

TBB: One sentence to describe you?
KL:  Unbearably adorable borderline workaholic sassy little turd.

TBB: What do you love about writing stories?
KL:  I love connecting with people by taking bits and pieces of myself and my experiences and then rearranging them into characters and stories that can make people laugh and feel good about life.

TBB: If you were stuck in a lift (elevator) which one of your heroes would you like to be stuck with?
KL:  Well, I’d most like to be in an elevator with Declan Cannavale, but if I were stuck in a non-operational elevator I’d choose the thespian Eddie Cannavale, because then I would also be stuck with Benedict Cumberbatch, Romeo, or whomever I asked him to be for me.

Before writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got her BFA in creative writing from a Canadian university and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name). She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn’t allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now she’s breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. It’s an adjustment that she’s happily getting used to.
