According to Jerad S. Marantz’s post, this version of Thanos was more about blocking out shapes and “work on the manikin.” The final design, as pointed out by Marantz, incorporated some of his design to Thanos’ warrior look in both Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. As an MCU fan, I can see the similarities between the concept art and what viewers saw on the big screen. The fact that he could work out the design through 3D modeling is a plus – most studios probably would have moved on to another artist.

Ingredients:
For the cake:
2 1/3 cups (290g) Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup (115g) Butter, softened
1/2 cup (120ml) Oil
1½ cups (300g) Sugar
3 Eggs
1 cup (240ml) Buttermilk (more if needed)
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
For the frosting:
2/3 cup (150g) Butter, softened
1/2 cup (120ml) Heavy cream, cold
1¼ cups (160g) Icing sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
1¾ cups (400g) Cream cheese
Decoration:
confetti sprinkles
Directions:
1. Make the cake: Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Line two 8-inch (20cm) round cake pans with parchment paper and grease bottom and sides.
2. In one bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, add salt, stir and set aside.
3. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar. Then add eggs, one at the time, beating until combined after each addition. Add oil, vanilla extract and beat until incorporated.
4. Alternate adding flour mixture and buttermilk, beginning by adding 1/2 of the flour mixture, then 1/2 of the buttermilk. Then repeat this process. Beat until fully incorporating after each addition.
5. Divide the batter between prepared pans. Bake for about 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Allow the cakes to cool for 5-10 minutes in the pan, then release from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
7. Make the frosting: in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl beat heavy cream to stiff peaks. Then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
8. Assembly: Place one cake layer with flat side down. Spread a layer of frosting, place the second layer of cake on top of the frosting, flat side up. Spread evenly the frosting on top and sides of the cake. Decorate the edges of the cake with sprinkles.
9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

As of December 8, 2020, NCIS: Los Angeles has not been cancelled or renewed for a 13th season. Stay tuned for further updates.
Will CBS cancel or renew NCIS: Los Angeles for season 13? These days, the network is holding onto successful and semi-successful TV shows for a lot longer than they used to. It’s in part because it’s become really tough to establish new shows that can perform as good as well-established ones. As long as the leads want to continue making the show and it makes sense financially for the network and CBS Studios, I think it will be renewed. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on NCIS: Los Angeles cancellation or renewal news.
What do you think? Do you hope the NCIS: Los Angeles TV show will be renewed for a 13th season? How would you feel if CBS cancelled this TV series, instead?

It’s so good.

Nigella Lawson is back on BBC 2 with a new television program(me) called Nigella’s Cook, Eat, Repeat, in which the domestic goddess introduces “viewers to a range of exciting new recipes aiming to elevate some of the most commonly used ingredients in British cooking.” (“Cook, eat, repeat” is also a depressingly accurate description of the repetitive nature of quarantine kitchen life — but we can worry about that later. We’ve got more important matters to discuss today.)
In the U.K., the new show has been steeped in a surprising bit of controversy from the beginning. “Viewers accuse Nigella Lawson of committing a ‘crime’ against cheesecake — after she drenches dessert in a sauce made with extra strong LIQUORICE pellets,” cried the Daily Mail, noting that just one week prior, she had incited a multinational scandal when she shared her preferred two-stage method for buttering toast.
And yet we were not prepared (how could we have been?) for this week’s installment, in which Lawson explains that, before adding full-fat milk to some soon-to-be-mashed potatoes, she warms the milk in the … microwave. As a commoner, you probably read that word as “micro-wave.” But this is not what Lawson says. Instead, she casually mentions that she warmed her milk in the …
Meek …
Row …
Wah …
Vay.
“Meek-row-wah-vay” is so good. We are all stuck in our dull kitchens with our stupid microwaves. Who knew that, with just a single slip of the tongue, we could transform ourselves into meekrowahvé people?
After its own investigation, the Independent determined the incident “was seemingly intended as a humorous mispronunciation by the chef,” but noted that fans had taken “delight in the bizarre speech quirk.”
There is a rich legacy here: In late June, for example, I learned that I could pronounce “popsicles” as if it were the name of an ancient Greek playwright — “POP-si-cleez” — and I plan to, if I ever speak out loud to another person again. Why drink chamomile when you can instead order “cha-mow-ma-lay”?
It’s true that we’ve all embraced our eccentricities a bit more over these past ten months, and thanks to Nigella Lawson, we can now see a future when we someday emerge from our homes. Perhaps we will all have developed new dialects, evolving, even in isolation, like Darwin’s finches.

Luddington said she never imagined that Jo and Jackson would be single at the same time, since Jackson was with April (Sarah Drew) and then Jo was married to Alex. This hook-up is more about Jo living the single life than actually trying to start a relationship with anybody.
“I also love that she’s single because I was, I was like thinking about going into the season for the first time, with this character being single and I was trying to remember a period of time where she really was single, and she really hasn’t been she was like, not with Alex but still in love with him. So this is the first time that she’s like, ‘I need sex, who’s up?'”
For now, she describes Jo and Jackson as “sex friends,” and maybe Grey’s Anatomy‘s first sex friends since Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Mark (Eric Dane) were sleeping together way back when.
“I was joking with Jesse because I was like, I feel like a lot of girls in the past with Jackson Avery are like, ‘Please love me, you’re Jackson Avery.'” Luddington said. “And I love that Jo was like, ‘No thank you, like, not happening. Please can we just have sex?’ I like that. I think it’s really fun.”
