2020 has been a year that has caused delays in many of our favorite movies, but it’s also been a rough year if you’re a fan of video games. Several major releases saw delays of their own, but a major title, Cyberpunk 2077, which includes a character voiced and designed to look like Keanu Reeves, is set to finally debut in just a couple days. However, if players attempt to get a jump on the game, they will get a special message directly from Keanu himself, telling them to go away.
Performing artists and musicians entering England may be exempt from coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine regulations moving forward.
New rules from the Department for Transport state that DJs and other artists traveling for business-related ventures, even from high-risk areas, will not need to self-isolate for the previously mandatory two-week period. Performers certified by the Arts Council England will be exempt, with official guidance to be published soon.
This means it may become easier for promoters and DJs to work together abroad. However, exemptions may only be made for artists considered âhigh-valueâ and terms are âsubject to specific criteria being met.â From the sounds of it, there are a lot of hoops to jump through.
For now, the exemption for performing artists and musicians is exclusively available in England, with Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland awaiting approval on similar new measures.

Whatâs This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Family Guy stars voice actors Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis, Seth Green, Patrick Warburton, and Arif Zahir. The series follows stereotypical sitcom dad Peter Griffin (MacFarlane). Overweight and a bit dim, Peter is close to his family but is also a heavy drinker. A piano teacher, wife Lois (Borstein) is a stay-at-home mother and usually ends up being the impatient voice of reason. An outcast at school, 18-year-old Meg (Kunis) is the familyâs preferred dumping ground. Overweight like his dad, 13-year-old Chris (Green) is socially awkward and clueless, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. The baby of the family, one-year-old Stewie (MacFarlane) is diabolically clever, if sexually confused. Rounding out the Griffin family is their talking dog, Brian (MacFarlane). A ladiesâ âmanâ who is particularly devoted to Lois, Brian is about one step away from AA. Â

What do you think? Are you glad that the Family Guy TV show has been renewed for a 19th season? How would you feel if FOX had cancelled this TV series, instead?
Courtney Love offered her approval for Miley Cyrusâ recent cover of Holeâs âDoll Parts,â saying she was âtouchedâ by the performance. In the same Instagram post, Love shared a video of her late husband, Kurt Cobain, telling the crowd at a Nirvana show that Love was âthe best fuck in the world.â
In a previous Instagram post, Love had called Cyrusâ cover, which performed on The Howard Stern show, âsweetâ and expounded on the songâs origins.
âI had to write most of the lyrics on my arm in Sharpie as I ran out of paper,â she recalled of the song, which was written in 20 minutes in a bathroom in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
âPeople were pounding on the door as I wrote it. It was played for the first time about an hour later, at the Virgin megastore in Boston. It was about a boy, whose band had just left town, who Iâd been sleeping with, who I heard was sleeping with two other girls. It was my way of saying âYouâre a fucking idiot if you donât choose ME, and here is all the desire and fury and love that I feel for you.ââ
That boy? Kurt Cobain.
âGood songs donât always come in 20 minutes but the force was strong and that one did,â Love said. âAnyway, I married that guy.â
As for Cobain, the post included a video of Nirvana performing âSmells Like Teen Spiritâ on the U.K. program The Word in November 1991, where Cobain said, âI just want everyone in this room to know that Courtney Love, the lead singer of the sensational pop group Hole, is the best fuck in the world.â
Love apparently didnât take umbrage Hole being called a âpop group,â instead of focusing on the praise of her sexual proclivities. âDespite it seeming possibly vulgar to some, it isnât, it was really sweet, and made me chuckle,â she wrote. âSort of embarrassed and sort of not.â

For months, the predictions have been dire: As difficult as itâs been for restaurants to stay in business, the winter months will make it truly unbearable. By now, we all know that restaurant owners and employees have suffered an impossibly heavy toll as a result of the COVID pandemic. The industry is collapsing, there is no more aid in sight, and our leaders seem content to let independent restaurants and bars fail in the name of public safety. You do not need us to tell you that things are very bad for almost everyone involved in New Yorkâs hospitality industry, and yet somehow, this week, theyâve started to look even worse.
Think back to this time a year ago: Office holiday parties, big meals with friends, midafternoon sunsets leading to drinks out with friends and colleagues. This year, the more pressing concerns are whether a restaurantâs heat lamps are strong enough to keep diners warm as temperatures plummet, whether the outdoor dining setups allow for enough airflow, and whether a given restaurantâs HVAC has been adequately upgraded to filter out the particles in dinersâ breath. Dystopian dining âigloosâ dot our sidewalks.
The National Restaurant Association reports that, in the United States, 110,000 restaurants are closed because of the pandemic. (In New York, hundreds of destinations and neighborhood favorites alike have already been forced to call it quits.) In all, the NRA reports that one in six restaurants are gone, with 48 percent of those now-former owners telling the trade group they are unlikely to stay in the industry at all. Meanwhile, 58 percent of all operators tell the group they anticipate more layoffs and furloughs before April. And, as Ryan Sutton reported last week on Eater, New Yorkâs job recovery in the industry has already slowed, while aid remains woefully inadequate.
All of that would be bad enough. But yesterday, Governor Cuomo offered the dire warning that indoor dining â crucial for business as temperatures drop below freezing for the first time this season â would be halted next week if the hospitalization rate âdoes not stabilize in New York City in the next five days.â That is unlikely since, as Dr. Anthony Fauci predicted during Cuomoâs press conference, we are still about a week away from feeling the âfull bruntâ of a Thanksgiving-related surge â which, of course, canât be corrected retroactively. And then Christmas and New Yearâs will only bring further potential for increased spread of the virus. The question is no longer if indoor dining shuts down in New York City â it is âHow soon?â
Itâs a combination of factors that is somehow newly and uniquely brutal â in New York and beyond. Owners who are not already equipped to see things through until the spring are increasingly pessimistic. In Bon AppĂŠtit, the chef Ed Lee told Ashlea Halpern, âAt the end of the day, Iâm on the Titanic trying to throw out buckets of water to stay afloat.â
Of course businesses are rethinking the ways they make money. There are meal kits and beautifully branded products and plenty of cocktails to go. But at a certain point, an assigned path becomes clear, even as people desperately hope to stray from it. Everyone recognizes the need for government assistance to help fix this; everyone seems increasingly convinced that it wonât happen in time, if at all. But we all knew this was coming, and, with each passing day, it will only become more impossible to fix it.
Sooo I filmed this video just over a year ago when I went to see my favourite band with my favourite person. If you follow me on social media, youâll know that Iâve been obsessing with HU ]for about 6 or 7 years and not only I got to see them live about this time last year, but I actually got to meet them. I will be seeing them again in May. I will also be attending a couple of other concerts this year, and even though I probably wonât be filming them – Iâll be posting about the events on social media for anyone whoâs interested!:)
