Four episodes, 10 years, 200 filming days and thousands of hours of footage later, one question still remains: Who murdered Barbara Hamburg?
But for Madison Hamburg, when he set out to discover who killed his mother on March 3, 2010, there was one other mystery he wanted to solve: Who was Barbara Hamburg?
Murder on Middle Beach ended its four episode run on Sunday night, bringing Madison’s eight-year investigation to an end—but also a new beginning, both for the filmmaker as a family member who’s experienced this kind of tragedy, and for the investigation, after a major breakthrough in the case.
Just 18 years old when Barbara was murdered, Madison told E! News his documentary is less of a whodunnit and more of an exploration into Barbara the person, not just the parent, and the “conflicts within her life.”
Those conflicts, as well as Madison’s family secrets, are exposed and explored throughout Murder on Middle Beach, along with his ongoing investigation into the still-unsolved slaying.
But will Madison continue to document his search for his mother’s killer? And how did his family members—including his estranged father—react to the docuseries?
Zack Snyder’s post to Vero was careful to keep anticipation for the Snyder Cut at a high, while also not sharing any of the movie’s mysterious contents. The screen simply has a title card that reads “picture start”, which will eventually be removed when Zack Snyder’s Justice League it hits HBO Max. It’s unclear if sound or visuals are being worked on, and how much of the alternate cut has actually been completed thus far.
The Snyder Cut will be available exclusively on HBO Max, which is currently home to a variety of DC content including Justice League‘s theatrical cut. You can use this link to sign up for the streaming service.
R&B songstress Teena Marie passed away Sunday (Dec. 26). She was 54-years-old. Details of the singer’s death are scarce but she reportedly passed away in her sleep and was discovered in her Los Angeles home by her daughter Alia Rose AKA Rose LeBeau. Marie’s passing was first discovered by journalist/author Roland Martin, who took to Twitter to report on the sad news. The singer’s publicist, Jasmine Vega, eventually confirmed reports. Marie’s manager, Mike Gardner, also confirmed her death to CNN.

Set in the fictional Cloud 9 Superstore, this workplace comedy focuses on the family dynamic that forms among employees.
Having seen it all, the bright and dependable Amy (America Ferrera) is Cloud 9’s most steadfast and level-headed employee. She keeps Cloud 9 together, despite her coworkers’ foibles and antics.
Idealistic Cloud 9 new-hire Jonah (Ben Feldman) is determined to find moments of unexpected beauty — even in his work at this generic, big-box chain store. Jonah strikes Amy as elitist, even while proving nearly incompetent, at first.
Aggressive Assistant Manager Dina (Lauren Ash), sets her sights on Jonah. Other than that, Dina lives and dies by the Cloud 9 Superstore employee handbook.
Amiable but bumbling, Store Manager Glenn (Mark McKinney), is a lifer who has been promoted above his level of competence. Snarky Garrett (Colton Dunn) is Cloud 9’s “Voice of God,” intercom announcer.
Young, sweet, and pregnant, Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) is just trying to get by and provide for her imminent family. The ambitious Mateo (Nico Santos) is hired along with Jonah and is determined to get ahead.

French Montana and Jim Jones’ beef is squashed, and now the rappers have agreed to face off against each other in a Verzuz match.
In a new conversation with Complex, Montana was asked about a possible Verzuz with Kendrick Lamar since he claimed to have more hits than the latter. Responding to that, Montana shot it down. “I think that was like, a last year thing,” he said.

Montana continued, explaining that he and Jones would make more sense. “I think I wanna go against Jim Jones,” he said. “Since we did beef, I think it’s something we should do. I spoke to him yesterday. I think that would be something that, you know what I’m saying, since we just squashed that beef.”

Montana and Jones squashed their beef earlier this year and explained why to fans during an Instagram Live conversation.
“If there’s anybody out there watching from the young n**gas, man, learn from this,” said Montana. “Don’t waste 15 years in the game when y’all could have been getting all kinds of bags together.”
