A new posthumous Juice WRLD song has been released. “Real Shit,” billed as a collaboration with producer benny blanco, arrives on what would have been the Chicago rapper’s 22nd birthday. The two previously collaborated on “Roses,” a song from blanco’s album Friends Keep Secrets. The new song features additional production from 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady, Cashmere Cat, Henry Kwapis, and Jack Karaszewski. Listen to it below.

This summer saw the release of Legends Never Die, the first posthumous project from Juice WRLD since his December 2019 death. In August, the Weeknd released “Smile,” which was co-produced by longtime Juice WRLD producer Nick Mira and featured a verse by the late rapper.

Lady Gaga Announces New Oreos Collaboration

0

We are desperate, in these uncertain times, to find something stable to hold onto, and yet there is so much about the future that is still unknown. What will Joe Biden’s America look like? for example. When will the pandemic end? Will there ever be a third season of Succession?

There is, however, one thing that we can now be absolutely certain of: Lady Gaga Oreos are coming. In January, they will be here. They will be available, for a limited time only, in six-cookie packs at convenience stores. These are the kinds of concrete facts we crave.

Inspired by her most recent album, Chromatica, the vanilla-flavored Chromatic Oreos are “bright pink with green crème filling and feature various embossments inspired by the album,” CNN reports. One of them has a Chromatica–inspired heart. Another one has a Chromatica–inspired imprint of the word “OREO.”

Lady Gaga herself confirmed the cookies’ existence by posting an informative video to Twitter of herself and one of her French bulldogs (Koji, b. 2015) tearing open a package of the Technicolor morsels, and then waving them in the air to illustrate their definitive existence. Koji is intrigued.

“They decided it might be a good idea to have a Chromatica Oreo,” Lady Gaga says, expressing her enthusiasm for this venture by not sitting up. Still in repose, she explains that they are pink and green. You cannot argue. They are pink. They are also green.

We don’t know exactly when in January the Gagoreos will drop, but if you would like to join the Lady Gaga x OREO Stan Club, they will be sure to keep you abreast of the evolving situation as further details unfold, which will, again, begin sometime in January.

James Bond: Pierce Brosnan’s Movies, Ranked

0

I wasn’t sure if my feelings were going to change towards the series, and it was kind of scary after seeing a recent hot take stating that Pierce Brosnan had never made a good James Bond movie. After all, memories don’t always hold up, especially when taking into account the huge cultural shifts and cinematic competitors that the franchise would have to compete with in the ‘90s. Taking a pretty deep look into my heart, as well as the history books, I have a pretty definitive opinion the Brosnan era. And it starts, like all of our other rankings do, with Brosnan’s 007, by the numbers.

SWARM Goes Heavy Cinematic For Latest Release, “Fury”

0

2020 has been horrible in a lot of ways, but for many artists, this year has given them the chance to discover their sound and carve out a massive niche in the culture for themselves. SWARM is one of those artists. Blending his start in midtempo with influences from Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, Celldweller and more with cinematic bass elements has made his name synonymous with massive, room-filling swells and incredibly impactful melodies.

While he’s had many stunning releases this year already (“I’ll Never See The World,” “Heartless”), “Fury” is perhaps his heaviest, most in-your-face, chill-inducing cinematic piece yet.

The track itself is the sonic equivalent of a full three-act film, with varying tempos, keys, rhythms, and more. Each movement is unique unto itself with an overarching theme that ties everything together. Combining that motif with actual cinematic musical elements gives “Fury” a singular identity, one that SWARM is more readily tapping into with each release.

Check out the track in all its glory below!
