Obviously some big moves would have to be made that would set up a project that would see Drake play Barack Obama in a biopic, none of which have actually been made yet, but for what it is worth, the former President definitely approves the casting selection – if not especially because his daughters would love to see it happen. He continued,
The number of people that Skrillex has worked with this year is mind boggling, but perhaps one of the most exciting collaborations might have just been teased.
During an Instagram Live, Dylan Brady, one half of experimental electronic music duo 100 Gecs, slyly teased at a potential collab between the two of them.
“People are spamming Skrillex in the chat,” says one man.
“Skrillex collab?” Brady replies, already inserting his own words into the mix. “I wonder if that’s gonna happen,” as he begins mischievously stroking his chin, in the way that scheming people do. “Hmm, hmmmmmm, Skrillex…”
After rumors of an Avril Lavigne collaboration last week, a 100 Gecs collaboration, in addition to one with The Beach Boys, another with Mike Einziger, could be spelling a collection of songs for 2020… an album, maybe?

Series creator Sam Levinson wrote and directed the first episode (under COVID-19 guidelines), previously titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” which will also feature Colman Domingo. The episode synopsis reads as follows:
“In the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and relapsing, the first special episode follows Rue (played by Emmy-winner Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas.”
The drama ranks as HBO’s youngest skewing drama series on the network’s digital platforms. In addition to delivering a series high for its Sunday night 10 p.m. premiere telecast, Euphoria continued to grow every week on HBO’s digital platforms. The series premiere night delivered over 5.5 million viewers across HBO’s platforms.
Kicking off its eight-episode first season June 16 on HBO, the series stars Zendaya (Spider-Man: Far From Home) who heads the ensemble cast of the show, which follows a group of high school students as they navigate a minefield of drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship. The series is created and written by Sam Levinson (HBO’s The Wizard of Lies), who also directs five episodes of the first season.

Jvanz has become a rising artist to watch pumping out music nonstop and growing his quality and sound with each release, while remaining completely independent and staying a true artist by curating all of his music, videos and release plans just with himself and his team at Icon Island. His work ethic is entirely inspiring.
2020 has been a great year for the young artist, with big releases like “Mi Amor” with Bunlo, “The One“, and now his highly anticipated debut EP, ‘Lane Change‘. The “Lane Change” concept is all about outgrowing your situation and going pedal to the floor, get in the fast lane, passing by all the BS and heading straight for your goals. It’s a motivating message and the quality of this EP undoubtedly will push the listener to want live up to this concept.
“Water” is the lead single from the EP and speaks to how we’ve all felt at sometime during this wild year, that we are drowning in negativity but with every down, comes an up. Jvanz says:
“I wrote ‘Water’ during these tough times we are all facing around the world. I struggled as many others have too, knowing what’s true or false these days. With all the fake news and false information spreading on social media, ‘what do I believe’ and at the end of the day we have to push through all the information and remain true to finding who we are and what we believe in… ‘gotta be better for me’.”
Other stand out tracks include “Timeless” with one of our favorites, Snyder. It’s a track that lives up to the name and is the most beautiful song on the whole EP. “From The Jump” caps off the EP perfectly in a brooding, captivating aura that can’t help but make you want to repeat the whole listening experience again.
We can’t get enough of ‘Lane Change‘ by Jvanz. Listen below!
