The Russo Brothers work in the MCU massively opened up the shared universe, while containing plenty of long-awaited crossover moments. This is especially true for their pair of Avengers movies, with Endgame currently the highest grossing movie of film history. But the industry is in a unique place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Joe Russo seems to understand the benefit to releasing blockbusters straight to homes. As he put it,
When video game No Man’s Sky first released on August 9, 2016, many of the core features that developers had promised players were missing. At the time, the game was losing users by the thousands, but English indie studio Hello Games worked tirelessly and offered massive, free patches one after another to make it into the very fully functioning game it is today.
With all of the new updates, players are able to do things they never would have dreamed of at launch, including creating full “rave planets.”
Many games like Minecraft, Fortnite, and Roblox are also getting in on the virtual rave craze these days, but No Man’s Sky is the only one that offers both a fully customizable environment as well as AAA graphics.
Hello Games added a fully functional synthesizer to the game late last year, allowing players to create unique music that can be heard by visitors. After coming up with the idea, a group of players, known as The Galactic Hub, “settled on two planets in No Man’s Sky that were in close proximity to each other and began building dozens of bases that feature musical stages, meteor showers, and inventions that combine music with mini-games,” reports Game Rant.

The planets are called Lepios and Electric Diplo Carnival, each with their own unique ecosystems and planetary events. Hello Games released the Origins update to No Man’s Sky earlier this year that dramatically increased the planet count and made some major UI changes to the game. Up to 32 players band together to explore the vast beyond on next-gen consoles, meaning you can create some very intimate settings for friends.

It’s been two years since siblings Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis) saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom’s new boyfriend and his son Jack (Jahzir Bruno). Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away. But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus (Kurt Russell). The Christmas Chronicles, a holiday adventure from producer Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter) and director Clay Kaytis (The Angry Birds Movie), tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. Saturday Night Live has announced three upcoming sets of hosts and musical guests. Jason Bateman will host SNL on December 5, with country artist Morgan Wallen serving as musical guest. The following week, Timothée Chalamet will host an episode that features Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. And, finally, on December 19, Dua Lipa is the musical guest while former cast member Kristen Wiig hosts. Check out SNL’s announcement below.
Morgan Wallen was previously scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live on October 10, but had his appearance canceled after video surfaced of him appearing to party with no mask and kiss people in a crowd. “I respect the show’s decision because I know I put them in jeopardy, and I take ownership for this,” Wallen said in a video. Jack White took his place as the episode’s musical guest.
Earlier this year, Bruce Springsteen released Letter to You. He and the E Street Band last performed on SNL in December 2015.
Dua Lipa’s sophomore album Future Nostalgia arrived in March. It’s up for the 2021 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. She made her SNL debut back in 2018.
