In this episode, Edna Martinez will bring you a heavy selection of Afro Caribbean sounds in a Picò Sound System style. Edna Martinez (Artist, DJ/Curator) plays sets that translate her personal journey with music. Her shows for Worldwide FM showcase the sound system culture of Colombia’s Caribbean coast and her hometown of Cartagena de Indias. She also is a musical activist behind the legendary El Volcan (elvolcan_pico) dances and LatinArab nights (latinarabln) in Berlin and monthly at Radio Alhara. She is also confirmed as part of the official selection of CTM Festival 2022. (ctmfestival).
