Massive Attack donβt release new music often, but that could change in 2026. On social media, the band shared, βfrom next year we will release a cache of work created in the recent past,β adding that βtracks will be available physically and digitally via a new label.β The caveat, of course, is that the music will not be on Spotify, the digital streaming platform from which Massive Attack are trying to pull their catalog. The band has also directed fans to a new WhatsApp channel where there will be βdirect announcements on 2026 releases and special performances.β
Massive Attack self-released the Eutopia EP in 2020. It marked their first new music since 2016βs βThe Spoils,β βCome Near Me,β and Ritual Spirit EP. The band released its most recent studio album, Heligoland, in 2010. The album, along with the 2016 tracks, all arrived via Virgin.
