An Afro-Cuban saxophonist of panache and volatility, Luis Faife is a regular presence in the club scenes both in D.C. and New York. He has maintained a personal artistic aesthetic that unites his upbringing in Holguin, Cuba, with the American jazz that has always captured his imagination. Under Faifeโs direction, D.C. Cuban All Stars bring live Cuban Timba music to the D.C. area and perform a variety of traditional and contemporary Cuban rhythms.
