New Orleans bounce icon Big Freedia is releasing a new holiday record called the Smokin’ Santa Christmas EP this Friday, December 11. Today, she released the video for a new single from the EP called “Better Be,” and it features Alabama rapper Flo Milli. Watch the Skyler Stroup-directed video, filmed at the New Orleans Joy Theater, below.
“This track is about putting 2020 behind us,” Freedia said in a statement. “Next year better be big, new, and Red Bottom shoes! … My only regret is that we couldn’t get Flo Milli in the video. It all happened so fast that I had to dig up my own holiday decorations for the video set.”
