Bedmi Puri Aloo | Aloo Ki Sabzi Recipe | बेड़मी पूरी और आलू की सब्ज़ी | Chef Ajay Chopra

BEDMI PURI

SERVES 4
Preparation time : 15 min
Cooking time : 20 min
Course: breakfast

Ingredients
1 cup soaked white urad
1 tbsp refined oil
1 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp hing
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tsp green chillies chopped
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp salt
1 tsp amchur powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander

For The Dough
1/2 kg atta
1/2 cup suji
1 tsp ajwain
1/2 red chillie powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp ghee
oil for deep frying

ALOO SABZI

Ingredients
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp hing
1 tsp ginger
2 nos green chopped
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilie powder
11/2 tsp coriander powder
11/2 tbsp besan
1 tsp soaked methi seed
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup boiled peeled potatoes
1 tbsp fresh chopped coriander

METHOD

1) Heat oil in the pan
2) Add jeera allow it to crackle
3) Add hing, chopped ginger, green chillies
4) Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and cook it at low flame.
5) Add soaked urad dal,salt and amchur
8) Cool the mixture for 5 mins and set aside
9) Grind the mixture into coarse texture.
10) Add chopped coriander in the mixture.
11) Take ½ kg atta and add suji to it
12) Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and add ghee.
13) Rub the flour nicely till it becomes crumbly.
14) Knead the tight dough using water as required.

For aloo sabzi
15) Apply oil to finish the dough.
16) Heat ghee separately in a pan.
17) Add jeera to crackle
18) Add hing
19) Add chopped ginger and green chillies
20) Add turmeric and red chilli powder.
21) Add coriander powder.
22) Add besan and roast for a while.
23) Add overnight soaked methi seeds
24) Add splash of water
25) Add one cup chopped tomatoes
26) Add water and stir it nicely and amchur powder and chopped coriander
27) Add crushed potato
28) Add fresh chopped coriander
29) Divide the dough in equal portions.
30) Make a cup using thumb and finger
31) Add stuffing and secure it nicely
32) Heat oil on a medium flame
33) Apply a little oil on the stuffed dough and roll it like a puri.
34) Deep fry the Puri until crisp and puffed.

Wendy Williams Show season 12

Both The Wendy Williams Show and The Nick Cannon Show are taking some extra time off. Both shows were meant to return on January 3rd, but the shows will now return a week later on January 10th, per ET Online.

The latest COVID-19 outbreak is behind the delay. Michael Rapaport, Kym Whitley, Finesse Mitchell and Sherrie Shepherd will guest host The Wendy Williams Show when it returns.

A Day in the Life of…Uffie & Miss Madeline

What happens when two pop stars get together?

“I was geeked af. Everyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with Uffie,” Miss Madeline says of their fall face-to-face at Uffie’s house. “She texted me asking for my drink of choice…I will save this screenshot forever.”

They bonded over Moscow Mules, chatting about all things music and even shared some unreleased tracks. And yes, they talked about boys. “A perfect evening if you ask me,” Miss Madeline adds.

“I really loved her nonchalance and don’t-give-a-fuck confidence, and had fun chatting about being women in the industry and past lovers,” Uffie says.

Miss Madeline’s first EP Polo Perkswas released on December 7. “It’s been really exciting creating a cohesive collection/body of work….and rewarding!” she says, describing her sound as “provocative pop”. “I felt really inspired by my producer and collaborator, Chicken…and one of the first things we bonded over was our love for Uffie.”

When asked what it feels like to be a trailblazer, Uffie only says, modestly: “Always look forward, babes.” No doubt her artsy alt-electro-rap-dance sound and performances have bonded many over her decade-and-a-half-long career. “When I first started I was making music to have to play live, as I started touring so quickly; now my time is much more studio-focused,” she explains. “Although the aspect of bringing that world I created into a live setting is still a magical part of it.”

And what does Uffie love most about Miss Madeline’s new EP? “Her attitude,” Uffie says.

Entrañable actuación de la niña Nikka Costa en el programa “Aplauso”, conocida en 1982 por su gran éxito en Europa con “On My Own”, donde interpretaría 3 canciones de su primer álbum, “Nikka Costa”(1981). Las canciones serían “So Glad I Have You”(su single de entonces), “Bubble of Rainbows y una preciosa versión de su exitoso “On My Own”, de la mano del conocido saxofinista Pedro Iturralde.. Además también se emitiría el clip “You”(single que también había obtenido bastante repercusión) donde Nikka cantaba con su padre Don Costa, compositor de sus canciones. Jose Luis Fradejas introduciría a la pequeña gran artista…

Esta actuación me trae recuerdos muy bonitos, ya que yo también era un niño, bastante mas pequeño que Nikka, y me encantó en su día ^^.

The Zuma Restaurant has opened its doors, just a few steps away from the Plaza Colón in the heart of Madrid. Chef Javier Blanco will bring  his expertise and experience from Zuma Mykonos and Zuma London to Madrid to offer a perfect fusion of creativity and simplicity, elegance and sophistication.Zuma offers a sophisticated twist on the traditional Japanese izakaya style of informal dining.

Zuma Restaurant Opens in Madrid, Next to Hotel Fénix, a Gran Meliá Hotel

In the 8,600 square foot space that the restaurant occupies in a prime location on Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana, the Japanese architect Noriyoshi Muramatsu has designed a space using typical Japanese materials such as recycled pine, using the four natural elements of earth, fire, water and air to create a modern ambience. The design also pays tribute to the Madrid with the use of ceramic tiles that combine both Japanese and Spanish culture. Noriyoshi’s design also brings the outside in, unifying the spectacular Paseo de la Castellana with the restaurant interior through the use of wooden lattices to cover the windows, creating subtle plays of light that become a key focus point of the design.
