A young, straight laced police detective, Jack Carrouseau, inadvertently crosses paths with a mysterious assassin named Miko. Despite requests from federal agents and his peers to end the pursuit, he continues to investigate the hit man, and uncovers a trail of blood and death stretching from the beaches of Southern California to the inner boroughs of Washington DC. Including a brief encounter with a prostitute, the events that follow forever change him and everyone involved.

If you’re reading this, you know just how influential TikTok can be on beauty purchases. A decades-old Clinique lipstick couldn’t stay in stock following its TikTok exposure. We all bought the Caudalie Instant Detox mask after scrolling through TikTok. The platform is so influential that its trendsetters even inspired Isle of Paradise to create a new tanning product.

One of the most recent TikTok makeup sensations is the CoverGirl Clear Fresh Skin Milk Foundation. After influencers Brianna LaPaglia and Mikayla Nogueira posted about the product on TikTok, sales increased by 269%, per Business Insider. And I know what you’re thinking, but no, that’s not a typo. Sales really increased by 269%, according to Wall Street analysts.

Brianna admitted to her followers, “I don’t want to share it because I don’t want it to sell out. It’s so good.” She explained it took her more than seven years to find the perfect foundation and that she previously used a $90 product instead. In contrast, this one ranges in price from $9-$13, depending on where you shop.

After seeing Brianna’s video, Mikayla tried out the foundation, admitting that she wondered if it’s the “worst foundation on the market.” However, once she applied it, she said, “I think it did a fabulous job of covering up my redness and evening out the skin tone.” Mikayla elaborated, “It’s very pretty. I love this kind of look, very skin-like. This makes me feel really young and youthful.” After she was done with her makeup, Mikayla declared, “I feel so f*cking pretty that it’s not even funny. I don’t feel pretty very often. Oh my gosh…This is f*cking bomb.”

The animated sequel The Addams Family 2 is currently playing in theaters featuring a score by renowned composers Mychael and Jeff Danna (Onward, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus). The score combines non-western musical traditions with orchestral music to create a vividly unique backdrop to the creepy fun classic. “We had a terrific time re-entering the musical world of The Addams Family 2 that we developed on the first film,” Mychael and Jeff said. “This musical world was gypsy instrumentation and modalities from Spain and Eastern Europe, which captured the history and dark humour of the family, combined with a cinematic orchestra: this gave us a tremendously colorful and lively palette to work with. Adding a dash of large gothic organ and musical saw to the brew, we created a sound that moved easily between large and frightening and whimsical.”

Based on the famous New Yorker creations of Charles Addams, MGM’s animated comedy features an all-star voice cast let by Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Snoop Dogg playing IT. Bill Hader joins the voice cast for the new installment as “Cyrus.” Directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, The Addams Family 2 is in theaters and premium on demand.

Elon Musk Actually Threw A 9,000-Person Rave At Tesla GigaBerlin Factory Opening

Over a year ago, Elon Musk teased an “indoor/outdoor rave space” on the roof of Tesla’s new Giga Berlin factory in Germany. Well, the factory is now open and the mad man actually made good on his promise.

Well, production inside the factory hasn’t started, and the rave may have not actually been on the roof, but we’ll take it. (We’re also using the term “rave” here very loosely.) The GigaBerlin “County Fair,” as resident Tobias Lindh calls it, invited 9,000 local residents of Berlin and Brandenburg to come and become familiar with the Tesla factory.

Boris Brejcha performed at the event, which also appeared to feature plenty of attractions like a ferris wheel, a Tesla coil (because, of course), food stands, and more.

INGREDIENTS

3 1/2 to 4 pounds apples (Rodgers uses crisp eating apples, like Sierra Beauties, Braeburns, Pippins, Golden Delicious or Galas)
Pinch of salt
Up to 2 teaspoons sugar, as needed
About 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
A splash of apple cider vinegar, as needed

How will Drew and Gina’s relationship change in the second season of the B Positive TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like B Positive is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of B Positive here.

A CBS comedy series, the B Positive TV show stars Annaleigh Ashford, Thomas Middleditch, Kether Donohue, Sara Rue, Izzy G., Terrence Terrell, Linda Lavin, David Anthony Higgins, and Darryl Stephens with Hector Elizondo, Jane Seymour, Ben Vereen, Jim Beaver and Anna Maria Horsford recurring. The story begins with Drew (Middleditch), a therapist and newly divorced dad, who is in need of both a new kidney and a social life. He runs into Gina (Ashford), a rough-around-the-edges former high school acquaintance who volunteers one of her own kidneys. Together, Drew and Gina form an unlikely and life-affirming friendship. During the process, Gina discovers that the happiness she’d been seeking all along could be found in the form of giving. In season two, Gina inherits a surprise fortune from a patient at Valley Hills, the assisted living facility where she works, and this leads her to make a big change in a positive direction.

Listen to Adele’s New Song ‘Easy on Me’

About 10 days after announcing its existence, Adele has released “Easy on Me,” her first new song in six years. The song comes from Adele’s new album, 30, which is out next month. The video for the song was directed by Xavier Dolan, who also helmed the clip for “Hello.”

 

This is Adele’s first album since 2015. Outside of hosting Saturday Night Live this time last year (where she did say that she had new music on the way that’s obviously arriving next month), she’s maintained a pretty low profile.

“I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way,” she said in a statement about the album. “I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life.”
