Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress to introduce new restaurant by Celebrity Chef Richard Blais
Acclaimed Chef Richard Blais will open his first Orlando restaurant later this year with a new tropical concept debuting at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, located adjacent to Walt Disney World.
Blais is widely recognized as the first winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars and recently announced co-star of the new Gordon Ramsay / FOX cooking competition, Next Level Chef. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and trained at The French Laundry, Daniel, Chez Panisse and el Bulli.
His new Orlando restaurant will make its home in the former Hemingway’s venue within the resort and offer dinner nightly and brunch on Sundays.
Blais currently owns and operates Trail Blais, a forward-thinking culinary consulting company that has consulted on, designed, and operated popular eateries across the country. He is the James Beard Award-nominated author of Try This at Home: Recipes from My Head to Your Plate, as well as his second cookbook, So Good.
Most recently, he opened Ember & Rye at the newly renovated Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, California and took on the role of Culinary Director at the newly opened San Diego Symphony performance space, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress will host a hiring event for the new restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the resort’s Windsong Ballroom. Positions available include management, cooks, bartenders, servers and greeters.

• Wear a shower cap so the Self-Tanning Water doesn’t get in your hair.
During Application
• Always hold the mister at least 6 inches away from the body & move at a continuous speed to ensure even coverage.
• When you spray your face, spray in three sections in vertical motions (left, middle, and right side of face).
• To create an even transition from your face to neck, tilt your head back and spray diagonally across the neck area.
Post Application
• Buff out the back of your wrists by rubbing them on a towel.
• Make sure the Water has dried on your skin before putting clothes back on.
The Hinokami Chronicles Post-Launch Characters Get Screenshots
Akaza and Rui will be the first two characters released into Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, and now fans can get a much better look at the characters in the game.

Publisher Aniplex and developer CyberConnect2 released a brand new batch of screenshots for both characters on Monday, showcasing the character designs as well as giving fans a brief look at some of their in-game looks during certain combat scenes. Akaza and Rui will be introduced into the game during its first free post-launch update, with two more updates planned that will also include two other characters each.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will also include a versus mode that allows you and another person to go toe-to-toe locally or online. Several characters have already been revealed including Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Shinobu Kocho, and Sakonji.

There will be several different versions of the game. The Standard Edition and Digital Edition will cost $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will be $69.99. However, those who pay a bit more cash will get some extra goodies like unique avatars and special cosmetics, as well as access to the game two days before launch.
ZHU Thrills With Back-To-Back Nights At The Greek Theater In LA [Event Review]
Since witnessing ZHU’s debut performance at HARD Summer in 2014, I’ve seen him seven subsequent times. Each time, whenever he’d make the decision to perform, there was always an intent to grow, to elevate, the performance. When he played at the Shrine in 2016, it was for the GENERATIONWHY album and the first tour he introduced his guitarist and saxophonist. By the time I saw him at Global Dance Festival in 2019, he’d done away with the veil and mystery of the project, his music able to speak for itself.
Now, in 2021 for his DREAMLAND 2021 tour, the show has evolved to the point of full-on live spectacle. The combination of over five years of stellar music, a brilliant live production, and an immaculate vision has taken ZHU’s live show beyond the typical CDJ and LED-wall motif — although those are still present.
Beginning with “Lost It” from his new album was a no-brainer. Such a bombastic opening to an album could only translate equally well to a live setting, and it set the tone wonderfully for the rest of the night. Beyond many of his hits throughout the night, ZHU also peppered in live edits and covers of songs like “…Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears, “Creep” by Radiohead, and “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin. Though DJs are no strangers themselves to throwing in songs that aren’t necessarily “EDM,” doing so in a live setting definitely had a bigger impact. You could feel the energy from the crowd when, for instance, the opening “dun dun dun” chords from “…Baby One More Time” came into focus.
The live setting also benefitted the set in the way that ZHU was able to move from softer, slower moments like “Blue Dream” to intense, grandiose tracks like “Dreams” with Nero or “I Admit It” with 24kGoldn, both banner moments from the set.
Beyond all of that was simply the way ZHU carried himself on stage, with the swagger, musicality and pop sensibility of The Weeknd combined with the tastemaking and fashion of Kanye West and the confidence of someone who’s been doing this for a decade longer than he has.
Bottom line, if you were on the fence about buying a ticket to a show on this tour, do yourself the service of hitting that “purchase” button.
