0

Jane Remover has shared her new remix of “Shake It Like A,” the collaborative single that Frost Children and Danny Brown released in August. Listen to “Shake It Like A (Jane Remover Remix)” below.

Frost Children—the sibling duo of Angel and Lulu Prost—produced “Shake It Like A” and co-wrote it with Danny Brown. The original track came about after Brown posted about his excitement for the band’s Hearth Room. “When we got in the studio with Danny, we all decided it was time to create the world’s biggest dance track,” Frost Children said upon the single’s release. “We’re also happy that it’s made us all even more famous.”

Jane Remover, who released Census Designated last year, had a busy summer, sharing the tracks “Flash in the Pan,” “Dream Sequence,” “Magic I Want U,” and “How to Teleport.”

Drake’s ‘Pigtail’ Hairstyle Gets Mixed Reactions From Fans

0

Drake’s new hairstyle has taken the internet by storm, with fans sharing a wide range of reactions to his pigtails and baby blue barrettes. Some found it amusing, others were critical, but one thing’s for sure—he’s kept people talking. Known for constantly reinventing his image, Drake’s latest look has sparked yet another conversation about his bold fashion choices.

Let’s dive into how fans have responded to this striking change and what it reveals about Drake’s evolving public persona.

How fans have reacted to Drake’s new ‘pigtail’ hairstyle

Drake’s new pigtail hairstyle with baby blue barrettes drew mixed reactions from fans after he shared the look on Instagram.

While some poked fun at the 37-year-old for what they perceived as a “mid-life crisis,” others found humor in the unconventional style.

One user quipped, “Drake going thru [sic] his mid-life crisis
just give us the slaps, my boy,” while another expressed frustration, saying, “Drake with those f–king pigtails, EIGHT DAYS away from being THIRTY EIGHT years old is pissing me off so bad.” (via Page Six)

Despite the trolling, Drake received some support. Fans compared him to iconic rapper Snoop Dogg, known for his bold hairstyles. One supporter wrote, “Snoop Dogg wore his hair like this
 and everybody loved it
so what’s the problem with Drake rockin’ his hair?” Another fan came to his defense, adding, “Drake got more hair than a lot of you.”

This isn’t the first time the “God’s Plan” rapper has rocked unconventional hair. In October 2023, Drake sported colorful clips while promoting his album For All The Dogs. Drake has a reputation for taking risks with his grooming and fashion, never shying away from bold choices. In 2021, he revealed that COVID-19 had damaged his hairline, which led him to regrow his hair from scratch.

Whether seen as a fashion misstep or a creative expression, the hairstyle has certainly kept Drake in the spotlight.

The Vans Warped Tour is returning. In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the legacy emo, rock, and pop-punk festival will be stopping in three cities in 2025: Washington, D.C. (June 14 and 15), Long Beach, California (July 26 and 27), and Orlando, Florida (November 15 and 16). Each two-day stop will feature 70 to 100 bands, with full lineups still to be announced.

The Warped Tour last took place in 2019, as it celebrated its 25th anniversary with shows in Cleveland, Atlantic City, and Mountain View, California. In a statement about the festival’s return, founder Kevin Lyman said, “People are craving connection, live music, and the raw, unfiltered experience that Warped has always offered. We’ve seen how music continues to unite and inspire, and this return isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about giving a new generation the chance to feel that same sense of belonging and freedom that Warped has always championed.”

Upload Season 4 Wraps Filming, Robbie Amell Shares BTS Photo

0

Prime Video’s beloved sci-fi series is getting closer to its imminent end. Series actor Robbie Amell has shared behind-the-scenes images from Upload Season 4, confirming that the final season has already wrapped filming.

“How it ended vs how it started,” the actor wrote. “The 4th and final season of Upload is officially wrapped and we can’t wait for you to see how it ends. Thank you to everyone who’s been watching with us over the last 6 years.”

You can check out Amell’s Instagram post down below:

What to expect in Upload Season 4?

Amell, who plays Nathan Brown, is set to return for the fourth and final season of Upload. It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet who’s joining the actor for Upload Season 4. However, Andy Allo and Allegra Edwards are expected to return as Nora Antony and Ingrid Kannerman, respectively.

Upload is set in a world wherein people can upload themselves to a virtual world of their choosing after their death. When computer programmer Nathan unexpectedly died, he found himself uploaded to an expensive virtual world called Lakeview.

The third season ended with quite a cliffhanger, bringing in two Nathans in the mix. Details about Season 4 are still thin, but the upcoming final season is expected to answer all the questions left in the Season 3 finale: which of the two Nathans survived?

“Set in a technologically advanced future where holographic phones, self-driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D food printers are the norm. And, forget about dying – instead, you’ll be “uploaded” to a virtual reality afterlife, and enjoy all the comforts of a world-class resort. Provided you can afford it,” the synopsis reads.

The series is created by Greg Daniels (The Office). It also stars Zainab Johnson as Aleesha Morrison-Downey and Kevin Bigley as Luke Crossley, among others.

No release date has been set yet for Upload Season 4. Previous seasons are available to stream on Prime Video.

2hollis: “gold” Track Review | Pitchfork

0

When 2hollis opened a portal through New York’s Terminal 5 in August, teenage hotheads rejoiced, locking limbs as his synths blared from cavernous speakers. Ken Carson’s Chaos Tour was a breakthrough for the bleach-blonde rapper-producer as he brought the angsty dance-pop of his June album boy to life. 2hollis opened every night of the tour’s American leg, conducting juvenile mind control through synth passages and FL drum loops. “gold,” his first single since the summer, showcases the high-octane theatrics he might have picked up from Ken.

The start of “gold” mimics that feeling when the rollercoaster hums awake and creaks forward: a pang of irresistible anxiety. “Ain’t no point in waiting,” hollis chants as the shriek of scraping metal grows louder and more enticing. Then the track explodes into bone-shattering 808s, rickety hi-hats, and jerk-adjacent claps, drawing from the raucous appeal of A Great Chaos, as 2hollis wades between whispers and agonizing yelps. “Backseat I ate it in my gold teeth,” he spits, before jumping out of his skin. “Backseat I wanna see you touch me!” Underneath his voice, metallic wails coil into crooked melody.

Self-produced alongside Jonah Abraham, the unsung architect of Whole Lotta Red’s “Rockstar Made” and “New Tank,” “gold” is violently exhilarating by design. Over the track’s beaming gabber coda, 2hollis strains his voice like a bomb is strapped to his torso. It’s chilling; something’s brewing post-Chaos.
