UPDATE: Nick Carter and Lauren Kitt Carter remain in the hospital with their newborn baby.
Hours after announcing their child’s birth, the singer returned to social media to give a health update. “Ok. So everything is looking better but we’re not out of the woods yet,” Nick tweeted early Friday, April 23. “We have to stay in the hospital one more night. But Daddy and Mommy are watching baby like a Hawk. Thank you again for all your love and support. We see you.”

Nick Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt Carter have welcomed a baby, but the Backstreet Boys star has revealed that the newborn’s birth didn’t go as planned.
“We are proud to announce that our baby has officially arrived,” Nick tweeted on Thursday, April 22. “But as a parent knows all to very well, sometimes things don’t turn out the way you plan it. We have been experiencing some minor complications but things are looking a little better after the first night.”
“I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and good thoughts during this time,” he later added. “We will keep you updated.”
The 41-year-old singer sparked concern from fans on Wednesday, April 21, when he posted a photo of himself in the hospital. “Yes I’m a believer. I ask god to give us strength to protect mommy and baby,” he wrote on Instagram alongside the picture, adding the hashtags #fatherhood #prayers.

Beautifully Cruel by J.T Geissinger was everything weâd hoped for. It had an enigmatic, dark, and broody, controlling and incredibly addictive anti-hero, Liam Black, who we were immediately compelled by. The push-pull between Liam and Truvy was intense, and the obsession, addictive. The attraction whilst seemingly insta, is so much more than that, and as the story progresses the culmination of various moments literally blows up the pages into a wonderful, hot, and thrilling crescendo. The passion was palpable and the nuggets of humour from Truvy, irresistible. Liam Black was a puzzle we could not wait to put together to get the full picture of exactly who he was and why everyone was so intimidated and terrified of him. We wouldnât necessarily call Beautifully Cruel a typical dark mafia romance as the gritty, dark, and violent is not threaded through the story as such. Neither is it particularly dark. Rather it is hinted at it instead. However, what it does have though, is a dark and thrilling mafia atmosphere as a backdrop for what is essentially an intense and unusual love story. A love story we fell in complete book love with.

One of our pet peeves is when a character doesnât stay true to who they are and do a complete 360 personality change for their love interest. In our view it makes the character lose who and what they are, and the love affair loses that fundamental reason for why two characters fell in love in the first place. Especially if thereâs no gradual character development to substantiate it. We have to say that this Author wrote Liam Black perfectly. As the mystery unravelled and Truvy drew him out from the impenetrable shield he wore, his inner hidden parts of that magnetic persona came out, his vulnerabilities brought on by his tragic past were revealed and the force of his passion and love exposed. We LOVED that! As for Truvy, she really was a larger-than-life character, she had real courage, strength, and a fierce sense of who she is and what she wants. Analytical with a sharp wit. Truvy may just be the only person who at no point feels frightened or threatened by Liam Black!

If you love anti-hero romances, with mafia undertones and that push-pull angst that goes hand in hand, then you should definitely add Beautifully Cruel by J.T Geissinger to your to-read list. Fabulously written, captivating, and passionate, characters thatâll steal your hearts and thoughts, we highly recommend both the book and this Author. Truvy is a superb heroine who stays savvy, sassy and satisfyingly sarcastic in her banter. And ohâŚ. Liam Black just catapulted himself into our top list of sexy, dark, and dangerous heroes!

Streaming on the Peacock subscription service, the Rutherford Falls TV show stars Ed Helms, Jana Schmieding (Cheyenne River Lakota Sioux), Michael Greyeyes (NĂŞhiyaw from Muskeg Lake Cree Nation), Jesse Leigh, and Dustin Milligan. The story follows Nathan Rutherford (Helms) and Reagan Wells (Schmieding), two lifelong best friends. Nathan is a proud descendant of the townâs founder and he runs the townâs heritage museum. Reagan is a member of the Minishonka Nation and she has dreams of championing the history of her people. The duo find themselves at a crossroads â quite literally â when their sleepy town gets an unexpected wake-up call.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Peacock will cancel or renew Rutherford Falls for season two. Since Peacock isnât ad-supported, it can take a chance on series it believes in, but sooner or later it comes down to production costs, versus viewership numbers. Itâs not a high-profile project and it isnât getting a lot of attention either. I think the show has a decent chance of being renewed but it could go either way. Iâll keep my ears open and an eye out for news, and will update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on Rutherford Falls cancellation or renewal news.

Adam McKay and Jennifer Lawrence recently worked together on the Netflix comedy Donât Look Up, and they have even more projects planned for the future. While on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, McKay confirmed that the Bad Blood film based upon faux-entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes, the founder and CEO of Theranos, is still in development and will star Lawrence.

âIn the case of Jen Lawrence, Iâve known Jen for a while,â said McKay of working with the star. âOne of the first meetings she ever did in Los Angeles was after her first movie was with me, and ⌠I think she was 17, she mightâve been 18. She worshipped Step Brothers, so when her agent said, âWho do you want to meet with?â Iâm sure they werenât so happy to hear her answer: âThe guy who did Step Brothers.â So Iâve known Jen for a long time and have always been dying to work with her.
âWe have been developing the Bad Blood [film]⌠That is still in development, and so that was the first person in. I wrote the character of Kate Dibiasky, the name of the character, for Jen, and she was the first read on the script and was like, I was in.â

Holmes is currently facing a dozen felony fraud charges. The Stanford dropoutâs company was valued at $9 billion until an investigation proved its technology said to reinvent health care was unproven. The film will be based on John Carreyrouâs book on the situation called Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup. The film version was written by Vanessa Taylor, and Legendary won the rights to the film in 2016. Producing the film is McKay, Will Ferrell and Kevin Messick.
