Makes about 70-80 cookies
Ingredients:
3 Large egg whites (100g)
1 cup (200g) Castor sugar
Pinch Salt
1/4 teaspoon Cream of tartar (optional)
Gel food coloring (optional)
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°F (100°C), line one or two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
2. Place the egg whites in a large, clean bowl or a bowl of a stand mixer. Add a pinch of salt and cream of tartar (optional). Beat egg whites until foamy, start by beating on low then increase to high speed, when the mixture is foamy, add the sugar very slowly one teaspoon at a time while continuing to beat.
3. Once all the sugar has been added, continue whisking on high speed and whisk until the meringue is glossy and very stiff.
4. Stir in vanilla extract or other flavoring (see recipe notes). At this stage you can add gel food coloring if desired.
5. Transfer the meringue to a piping bag fitted with a tip/nozzle of your choice. Or just cut the end of the piping bag and pipe without a tip. If you wish you can color your kisses by adding food coloring gel strips inside your pastry bag before filling (see the video).
6. Pipe the kisses onto the prepared trays. Squeeze lightly on the piping bag slowly pulling up before quickly lifting off to create the tip.
7. Place the tray on the center rack and bake for about an hour, then turn the oven off and keep closed for an additional 1-2 hours.

Necklace and Earrings by Tiffany & Co.

Jordan Firstman, the writer, comedian, and self-crowned Stinky King has grown a devoted Instagram following for his “secrets” series, in which he responds to fan-submitted confessions that range from silly (“I feed my cat my earwax”) to NSFW (“My boyfriend used a single piece of raw corn to give me an orgasm. Neat!”). But it’s his impressions—of summer 2020, of banana bread’s publicist—that have made him a star. Which is why we invited him to try out an entirely new impersonation: earring expert.

Blake Lively Hilariously Trolls Husband Ryan Reynolds With Desserts

0

Blake Lively has a top-tier sense of humor.

On Thursday, Dec. 10, the Gossip Girl alum took to her Instagram Story to share four of her “favorite things in the world” from Vancouver. In the first photo, three desserts were situated on a table, which included ice cream, donuts and a pie. The second Story included the fourth dessert.

Blake, whose husband Ryan Reynolds was born in British Columbia city, then jokingly teased her followers, “…Who did you think I was gonna say??” However, she did give her superhero a subtle nod with a Deadpool gif in the corner.

Of course, the happy couple, who have been married for eight years, have displayed their elite trolling throughout their relationship.

In an interview with Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist podcast, Ryan explained, “We’re people that don’t take ourselves too seriously. The only people I really love to make fun of is us.” And Blake agreed with that sentiment in an interview with HELLO! magazine back in 2018.

THE ROMANTIC PACT (Kings of Football #2) by MEGHAN QUINN

0

‘We had so many great times together, and if there is one thing I’m thankful for in my life, it’s you.’

The Romantic Pact by Meghan Quinn was just as the title suggests, romantic to its very core! The story was a big beating heart set in a winter wonderland that had us swept up in wonderful picturesque scenery with a warm and joyous Christmas atmosphere. We fell in love with love and we fell in love with Crew and Hazel. But above all, we fell in love with Pops.

“When you left, I was never the same.”

We met Crew in The Revenge Pact and were excited to read his story. And what a story it was. The premise is incredibly emotional and inspiring, and its beauty is in the words and voice of Crew’s grandad, Pops, who sadly passed away. Meghan Quinn is quite the beautiful storyteller. We know this Author has a wonderful sense of humour in her stories, however, what we were in awe of was the depth of emotion in The Romantic Pact. Whilst we laughed, swooned, and revelled in the beauty of Christmas in Germany, we certainly shed quite a lot of tears as well. The adventure we went on with Crew and Hazel was breath-taking at times, it was passionate, intense, and incredibly angsty too.

“What’s not going to happen is you’re not going to push me away because you’re afraid of the unknown. You’re not going to push me away because you think it’s easier that way. And you’re not going to push me away because you think it’ll hurt less.”

Crew and Hazel have been friends since childhood, seeing each other every summer at Pops’ farm. The bond between them was one of strength, love, and friendship. Life happens though and whilst they may have spent three years apart, the history and bond they had with Pops remained strong and tied their lives together still. When he sends them on a road trip in Germany to experience what he himself went through, it brings forward intense soul searching, memories, regrets and longing, passion and above all fun filled love. Pops sent them on a trip to find peace within themselves and each other, find their own truth as well as closure to their grief. And to relearn love.

‘We laugh, and I can’t think of a moment where I’ve felt more carefree, looser, happier. I don’t think I’ve felt this way in a long time. Years. Probably since I last saw her.’

The Romance Pact was such a beautiful journey, we lost ourselves completely to the story, we lost our hearts to Hazel and Crew and we found inspiration in the words penned by Pops.

‘You have one life to live. Don’t waste it on expectations when you can live joyfully through your passion.’

Moon Knight Series: Feige Teases Hero's Multiple Identities

Moon Knight Series: Feige Teases Hero’s Multiple Identities

During Disney’s Investor Day, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed new details about Disney+’s upcoming MCU series Moon Knight, describing the series as an ” action-adventure…Indiana Jones-type story.” He also went on to confirmed that the eccentric hero’s multiple identities will be their own characters in the series. It’s interesting to note that Feige wasn’t able to confirm whether Oscar Isaac has indeed signed into the the project or not. A potential reason is that negotiations with Isaac might still be happening.

“Bringing a whole new different vibe to the MCU…The character Moon Knight is a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder,” Feige teased. “These multiple identities who live inside him are very distinct characters in the series. The backdrop of our story is an incredible Egyptian iconography. Egyptology is something the world’s always been fascinated by and we’re going to tap into it in a fun and bold way.”

The Moon Knight series is being written and developed by The Umbrella Academy‘s Jeremy Slater with all episodes set to be directed by Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab. Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac was previously in talks for the titular role.

The project was officially announced by Marvel’s chief creative officer Kevin Feige last year along with two other MCU shows for Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk. This marks the iconic superheroes’ live-action debut who are also expected to be featured in future MCU films.

Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin in 1975 for “Werewolf by Night” #32, Moon Knight is the alter ego of Marc Spector, a Jewish-American rabbi’s son who grew up to become a heavyweight boxer and then a U.S. Marine.

Spector, a mercenary who has numerous alter egos such as cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant, in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu after being left for dead on a mission in Egypt. Most recently, he was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight.
