Really a great cd with great music that brings memories of old! Really glad I found it and am playing it at least twice a week. it is also a good cd to do exercise with!!!!!
All the hits of the 50’s he recorded and a very good cover of Sil Austin’s Slow Walk. Saw him live in 1961 – great show.
I bought this cd for a friend. He is an avid Bill Doggett fan. Growing up in the 50s and appreciating a different style of music. I have given this cd to him, and he is forever thankful.
Enjoyed the Music of the 50s and early 60s. I am a fan of the organ and one of my favorite tunes of the period was Honky Tonk.
The Cd wasnt exactly what I expected because I was hoping for him to be backing up some of the female artist of the time such as Della Reese. He did an excellent job of backing Della Reese on a live album that is out of print.
