Watch Bruce Springsteen’s Career-Spanning Interview With Fallon

0

Bruce Springsteen stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday (December 10), ahead of his stop on Saturday Night Live this week. In the meandering chat, he touched on his new album Letter to You but primarily indulged Fallon in a walk-through of his life, from transformative early encounters with music through to Born to Run, Broadway, his relationship with the “very old” gang the E Street Band, and, well, quite a bit more. Check it out below.

J Balvin and Mandy Moore also appeared on the show. Balvin spoke about his recovery from coronavirus and its impact on his mental health. Moore played “How Could This Be Christmas?” If the prospect of Jimmy Fallon and Lil Nas X battle-rapping in Santa outfits whets your appetite, that also happened.

Springsteen released Letter to You in late October. A few weeks later, he joined Jack Antonoff on the single “chinatown.”

Clare Crawley Clarifies Her Status After Calling Dale Moss Her Husband

0

Did Clare Crawley and Dale Moss tie the knot? That’s what fans were wondering after the former Bachelorette referred to her main man as her “husband.”

In a video posted to Instagram Stories on Dec. 10, Clare said, “Nothing makes me happier than grocery shopping with my husband.” But don’t send a wedding gift just yet. Clare quickly clarified the two haven’t tied the knot. “Slip of the tongue!” she wrote on the social network. “We aren’t married!”

Even though Clare and Dale haven’t said “I do,” it likely wouldn’t have surprised their fans if they had. Viewers watched their whirlwind romance unfold on season 16 of The Bachelorette. The hairstylist left the show after she broke up with her other suitors and accepted a proposal from the former football player, leading Tayshia Adams to take over the rose distribution duties.

“How he makes me feel is literally, like, sunbeams out of my heart, like, into the world,” Clare told Chris Harrison during a sit-down interview. “And I know that sounds so stupid, but I just feel it to my core. And whether it took one day or 10 days or two weeks or two years, this man makes me happy.”

Disney+ Debuts First Teaser of The Mighty Ducks Reboot

During the streaming platform’s section of the Disney Investor Day presentation, Disney+ unveiled the first teaser of The Mighty Ducks series reboot, subtitled Game Changers, which is slated to premiere sometime in 2021. You can check out the trailer below!

Emilio Estevez will reprise his role as Gordon Bombay nearly 20 years after first appearing in 1992’s The Mighty Ducks. Lauren Graham, of Gilmore Girls and Parenthood fame, also joins the franchise in an undisclosed role.

Previously, it was reported The Mighty Ducks would be a 10-episode series set in present-day Minnesota, where the iconic titular team have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports.

Once a Duck, always a Duck! And after 25 years, I am delighted to lace up my skates, put on Coach Bombay’s jacket and return to play the iconic character for this new chapter in The Mighty Ducks franchise,” Estevez said at the time. “Likewise, I am thrilled to return to my old stomping grounds with my friends at Disney and Steve Brill, the original creator of the franchise, to join them on their exciting new platform, Disney+.

The original film was directed by Stephen Herek. It starred Emilio Estevez (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire) as Gordon Bombay, a successful attorney who later became the coach of a local youth hockey team after he was sentenced to community service as a punishment for drunk driving. After some self-realization, Estevez’s Gordon helped the underdog team by teaching them the techniques he learned when he was a kid which led them into winning the state championship.

The Mighty Ducks series is co-created and will be executive produced by Josh Goldsmith, Cathy Yuspa, and the original film’s writer Steve Brill with Goldsmith and Yuspa serving as showrunners. It will also be executive produced by Lauren Graham, James Griffiths, Michael Spiller, and Jordan Kerner along with Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ George Heller and Brad Petrigala. Griffith has also signed on as the director.

She returned to work with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, as well as Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and the National’s Aaron Dessner, all of whom worked on folklore. HAIM also appear on the record, which Swift called a “companion” to folklore. Check out the full credits.

Teena Marie – Beautiful (For Alia) (HQ Audio Only)

6

A wonderful surprise came in January 2013, when UMG issued this; Teena (Lady T) Marie’s 14th and final studio album – BEAUTIFUL. Its recording had been completed prior to Lady T’s death. Her daughter, Alia Rose (whom this song was written for), a singer and MC who appeared on La Doña, Sapphire, and Congo Square, saw it through the mixing and mastering process. I hope you think this song is as ‘Beautiful’ as I do… enjoy 🙂
