The original hit movie had Tree reliving an exhausting Groundhog’s Day scenario over and over on her birthday, each time ending with her murder. And in Happy Death Day 2U, everything went all Back To The Future with alternate timelines and such. Many fans have already coined the title as Happy Death Day Tree, because it’s fun wordplay! Here’s what Landon said when he was asked if the title had been discussed:

Packed with plenty of pop flavor, “Be Happy” (Dillon Francis Remix) takes the original loners ballad and transforms it for the dancefloor. Even if you’re actively fighting off happiness, this remix will make it nearly impossible to stay down for too long.
As Dillon brightens the mood, Dixie’s pitched down vocals sing out: Sometimes I don’t wanna be happy / I’m down just leave me there, let me be sad.
This remix comes as the D’Amelio family, particularly Dixie’s sister Charli, is the subject of some major drama. An incident referred to as “Snailgate” recently wreaked havoc on social media and caused her to lose over a million followers.

After months of developing a pilot for a potential small-screen adaptation of Naughty Dog’s acclaimed post-apocalyptic title, HBO has officially given a series order to The Last of Us from Emmy winner Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Naughty Dog Vice President Neil Druckmann.

We’re delighted to partner with Naughty Dog, Word Games, Sony and PlayStation to adapt this epic, powerfully immersive story.”
The Last of Us is an action-adventure survival horror video game that is played from a third-person perspective. It was developed by the Santa Monica-based video game developer Naughty Dog, who is also best known for creating the Uncharted games. It was first launched in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and in 2014 for PlayStation 4 where it immediately garnered critical acclaim for its narrative, gameplay, visuals, sound design, and characters.

Set twenty years after an infectious pandemic spread by the cordyceps virus ravaged the course of humanity, these two people, who were brought together by chance, must make life-altering decisions in order to survive.The Last of Us explores themes of survival, loyalty, love, and redemption in an emotionally charged expedition across the post-epidemic United States.
Due to its immense popularity, The Last of Us has sold over 17 million copies and had successfully won numerous awards including multiple Game of the Year awards. Nearly 7 years since its launch, the video game is currently being recognized as one of the greatest video games ever made.

The Last of Us series adaptation will be tackling the events of the first game with the possibility of additional content based on the upcoming video game sequel. It will be co-written by Chernobyl creator Mazin and Druckmann, who is the game’s writer and creative director. Mazin will executive produce along with Carolyn Strauss, Naughty Dog president Evan Wells and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan. The project is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television in association with PlayStation Productions.
QUIX and Juelz dropped their fiery collaboration “Chicane” back in August, and the official remixes just dropped yesterday that bring a whole new perspective to the track-worthy… track.
With six remixes from Kumarion, MSFT, CORTR, MashBit, GLD, and Capshun, the variety in bass styles is absolutely stunning. Kumarion comes in with an updated, almost neuro DnB style flair. MSFT comes in with the heavy riddim, supported by some melodic stabs. CORTR goes heavy in the space bass realm, with glistening synths and detuned arpeggios. GLD is one of two that somewhat sticks to the original trap stylings, but with a much heavier and fuller arrangement of synths and bass. The other trap remix being Capshun, who goes in a completely different direction with staccato stabs and heavier emphasis on that unique synth patch.
However, no disrespect to the others’ remixes which are wonderful in their own right, but MashBit absolutely snapped on his remix. Taking the original and just running with it, “Chicane” turns into a melodic future bass anthem, with an incredible guitar solo and breathtaking melodies. This one was built from the ground up with a vivacious style and appreciation, and it shows clearly.
