Back in April, the luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta hosted a secret showcase of its latest Fall/Winter collection at Berlin’s Berghain nightclub. No phones or cameras were allowed in the notorious late night locale, which hosted a carefully-selected audience of global talents including Skepta, Slowthai, Honey Dijon, Burna Boy, and so the spirit of the collection remained a mystery. On Friday, the rest of the fashion world was finally let in on the secret, and the results were well worth the wait. Salon 02, the label’s newest ready-to-wear collection features dramatic, larger-than-life silhouettes accented with unique detailing. Models in the collection don pouf dresses glittering with glass embroidery, balloon coats bristling with ostrich feathers, and plenty of richly textured leather in a harmony of playfulness and sensuality.
