Everyone I know loves a good barbecue. In my humble opinion, the best barbecue comes from the South. It used to be my weekend splurge meal, while at the University of South Florida. L.A., however, is known for its great Mexican food and halfway decent, Asian cuisine. There are even rumors of great French Dip sandwiches.

But, what about the Barbecue? Well, I have to spill the proverbial, baked beans. Los Angeles has some of the best Barbecue spots, west of St. Louis. There are great barbecues spots—in and around the city. Without further ado, let’s get into the ribs.

Situated in coveted Grand Central Market, Horse Thief dishes up an authentic, Texas barbecue. The ribs and sausage are succulent, but do not dare pass up the brisket! No clue what horse robbery has to do with smoked meat, but hey…the food is very good.
