Bow Wow is open to the idea of a Verzuz match with Soulja Boy.
Bow Wow joined a room on Clubhouse on Dec. 6Â and gave a candid discussion to listeners about rapping, his work as an actor, and more. During the discussion, HipHopDX reports that he entertained the idea of doing a Verzuz match with Soulja Boy.Â

This is a big change since July, when he declined the thought of facing off with Soulja Boy, simply saying that the match is ânot going to happen.â
On Twitter, he questioned how the two rappers facing off would make for a good match. âHow soulja makes fun turnt music. I make r&b hip hop music for the ladies. How is that a good match up? You gone crank that one minute then the next cry over an ex. Thats an emotional roller coaster,â he wrote.Â
He also said that he didnât want to do a Verzuz match at all. When asked if he was scared to do so, he responded with âNo. Rather be getting money than playing songs yall heard a million times for an hour.
Two hours later, Bow Wow elaborated on his feelings. âI come from an era where.. If you a legend .. you a legend. No need to remind folks. Iâm only 33 I got more work to do. A versus for me right now makes no sense,â he wrote.Â
