Brooklyn rapper Casanova is facing multiple felony charges, the New York division of the FBI and the Department of Justice have announced. In a press release, it was revealed that Casanova, whose real name is Caswell Senior, was charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Casanova was named along with 17 other alleged members of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” by the FBI earlier today (December 1). The 18 alleged members were hit with a variety of charges, including murder, narcotics, firearms, and fraud offenses. The Department of Justice listed the full charges here.
According to the Department of Justice’s release, each of Casanova’s charges could lead to a maximum sentence of life in prison. 17 of the 18 defendants are currently in custody, however the FBI recently tweeted that they are still looking for Casanova.
