LET’S GET READY TO RHUMBA!!! It’s dance night with Jazz harmonies and Afro-Cuban rhythms! Dr. Mike Davison has performed with saxophonist Michael Brecker, trombonist Curtis Fuller and legendary saxophonist Justo Almario. He is a leading proponent of Afro-Cuban ethnomusicology. This band is “muy caliente” (very hot) and features Davison on trumpet, flugelhorn, vocals; Nathanael Clark on tenor sax; Alfredo Santiago on alto sax, flute & percussion; Charlie Kilpatrick on piano; Andrew Schutte on bass; Kip Williams on drums; Dominique Patrick Noel – congas; Santos Ramirez on auxiliary percussion.
