In recent years with multiple recorded albums in his portfolio González have developed an international following with clubs, concert halls, and festival appearances throughout the North and South America, as well as Europe. As a United States citizen, he still perform annually in Cuba at the legendary Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana, while staying close to his cultural and creative roots.

His solo act The Art Of Cuban Piano explores the vibrant spectrum of Cuban musical traditions—from 19th-century classical to modern Afro-Cuban jazz—and their deep ties to American jazz. Through the unique voices of these diverse pianists, the show celebrates virtuosity, lyricism, cultural identity, and showmanship in equal measure.

“Dayramir Gonzalez’s concert was a transcendent experience. It echoed throughout the great halls, both caressing and reverberating with love, passion and awe. To say Dayramir becomes one with his instrument is an understatement. How special this short music journey was to us”
Hal Masonberg- Photographer and concert goes.
