“El Cuarto de Tula” is one of the most famous Cuban traditional songs, made famous and internationally popularized by the “Buena Vista Social Club”.
This arrangement was done by Camilo Moreira Coro, the conductor of the Band.
The great thing about this arrangement is that it features a few rhythmic grooves like: changüí (at the beginning), salsa (the Intro and A section), charanga (in the B section of the song) and Colombian cumbia (at the first solos section when the 1st trombone is improvising)
