The goal of the Mosaic Festival of Arts & Culture remains the same since 2018: for immigrants, newcomers and international students to have a chance to show off their endless talents and a familiar piece of home, and for the residents of Halifax to have the chance to discover, learn and immerse themselves in other cultures.

In 2019, the Mosaic Festival expanded to focus on more art forms, specifically films, giving new opportunities to our incredibly talented populace to flaunt their skills and we can all celebrate the magic that is culture and diversity even further.

In 2020, Mosaic reinforced all health & safety measures to ensure that attendants could come together to celebrate the unique and diverse community. The Arts and Culture festival took place on September 19 at the Halifax Waterfront and live-streamed online; the Film festival took place online on November 20-22.

Mosaic Festival is founded by My East Coast Experience – a brand dedicated to the immigrant and international population in Atlantic Canada.
