McGee was the creator and founder of Creation Records, an infamous studio responsible for helping supply the âBrit Popâ sound of the 90s. From humble beginnings to Downing Street soirĂŠes, from dodging bailiffs to releasing multi-platinum albums, Creation Records had it all.Â
Featuring some of the greatest records fans have heard, the film will follow McGee through a drug-fueld haze of music and mayhem as his rock and roll dream brings the world Oasis, Primal Scream, and other generational talents.Â
âThis film tells the story of one of the most iconic figures in music,â said Mark Ward, Chief Acquisitions Officer at RLJE Films. âWith a soundtrack that will take you straight back to the 1990s and a filmmaking team that includes director Nick Moran, writers Irvine Welsh and Dean Cavanagh and executive producer Danny Boyle, we cannot wait for US audiences to go on the fantastic ride that is Creation Stories.âÂ
