Traditional Undhiyu Recipe by 80 year old Dadi – making Surti Undhyu at home. This is a yummy recipe. Undhiyu is a traditional Gujarati dish, winter dish to be precise and is made using winter special veggies. I enjoyed a home made Gujarati thali almost at my friends place and it was so amazing. All the different ingredients used for Undhiyu are listed below:
Purple Yam
Surti Brinjal
Flat beans (Surti Papdi)
Valor (green beans)
Jaggery
Salt
Gram Flour
Oil
Mustard
Coriander Cumin Powder
Potatoes
Green Garlic
Chillies
Coriander
Coconut grated
