Showtime has released the first trailer for The Curse—Nathan Fielder’s upcoming scripted series starring himself, Benny Safdie, and Emma Stone. The show follows a husband and wife who are trying to get pregnant while filming their HGTV show. Their lives are upended, however, when a young girl puts a curse on the couple. Guest stars include Barkhad Abdi, Corbin Bernsen, and Constance Shulman. Check out the new trailer below, and scroll down for the official poster.
The Curse was co-produced by Showtime and A24, and executive produced by Emma Stone, Benny Safdie, Dave McCary, and Ali Herting. Nathan Fielder directed the series, which he co-created and co-wrote with Safdie.
The show was announced back in 2020, and received a teaser clip last month. The 10-episode series premieres on Paramount+ With Showtime on Friday, November 10, followed by an on-air debut on Showtime on Sunday, November 12, at 10 p.m. Eastern.
Fielder launched the HBO series The Rehearsal last year. A second season of The Rehearsal is currently in the works.
