Adele: 30 [Columbia]

Six years after her third album 25, Adele announced her returnā€”with a divorce record, no lessā€”at the beginning of October, sharing ā€œEasy On Meā€ a few days later. She released the tracklist before teasing ā€œHold Onā€ in a holiday-themed advertisement. She also performed ā€œHold On,ā€ ā€œI Drink Wine,ā€ and ā€œLove Is a Gameā€ in a concert special.

Ovlov: Buds [Exploding in Sound]

Love, friendship, and mental health are among the subjects that Ovlov address on Buds. Itā€™s the third album from the Connecticut-based bandā€”brothers Steve, Theo, and Jon Hartnett, plus guitarist Morgan Luzziā€”and follows 2018ā€™s Tru. Ovlov shared ā€œLand of Steve-Oā€ from the record ahead of its arrival, as well as ā€œEat Moreā€ and ā€œThe Wishing Well.ā€ The Hartnettsā€™ father, Ted, plays a sax solo on the Spirited Awayā€“inspired ā€œCheer Up, Chihiro!ā€
