Eminem and Polo G Join Skylar Grey and Mozzy on New Venom Song: Listen

0

Eminem and Polo G join Skylar Grey on a new song in the upcoming Venom sequel. It’s called “Last One Standing,” and it appears in the Tom Hardy-starring Marvel film Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which hits theaters Friday (October 1). Mozzy also appears on the single. Listen to it below.

Back in 2018, Eminem contributed to a track to Venom, the first of the two films. Run the Jewels also recorded a song for the movie called “Let’s Go (The Royal We).”

Of “Last One Standing,” Skylar Grey said in a press release:

Over the past year I’ve been very selective about the projects I work on, outside of working on my album. I’ve really been putting focus on finding the right collaborations and the right film/tv projects. The way this song came together was kind of the perfect storm. Venom is one of my favorite superheroes because he’s an antihero and I relate to that. Also Tom Hardy is one of my favorite actors. So I’m honored to be a part of this.

“So, Saint Laurent

“So, Saint Laurent
 Voice Notes. It’s cold here
I didn’t bring a coat, I don’t know why. I guess I thought it was just going be, like, summer forever. Anyway, Saint Laurent. You should know that I basically AM a catsuit from the ‘80s—I know that about myself. I’ve been really into catsuits lately, and I’ve been doing them a lot because they’re fun, and as Anthony Vaccarello showed us tonight, they’re “Fabulous at Any Age.”

I do believe that a main part of my story IS Anja Rubik’s outfit at this show. For better or worse, it’s my personality, like it or not. Add those totally evil, bug-eye black YSL ‘80s sunglasses that they showed on Freja, and you’ve really got me in a nutshell. I think this outfit is giving today, but it’s also totally giving this ‘80s Helmut Newton, L.A. woman, New Wave Hookers, fuck the haters, we do what we want kind of tea. It’s a lot of codes, babe. I was into it. Also, there’s definitely a Terry’s Diary vibe in there that the kids seem to be into now. Also that dark powdery red lip and also a J.T. LeRoy girl in disguise wearing a misshapen wig but in all Saint Laurent thing. I don’t know, there’s like a lot of herstory coming up for me in this show, you know what I mean?”

P.F. Chang’s at Royal Hawaiian Center Announces Reopening

0

Royal Hawaiian Center, Waikiki’s premier shopping and dining destination, announced the reopening of P.F Chang’s on September 7, following an extensive renovation. The restaurant’s enhanced design elements, combined with a reimagined menu, create an inviting ambience and an energetic dining experience for guests.

“As the only P.F. Chang’s location in Hawaii, the restaurant and its evolution give rise to an elevated dining experience that is exclusive to Royal Hawaiian Center visitors,” said Rosalind Schurgin, CEO of The Festival Companies, the Development Manager, Leasing Agent and Property Management Company for Royal Hawaiian Center. “The vibrant murals and stunning dĂ©cor breathe new energy into the space, while the innovative yet distinctive menu offers a welcome surprise for guests.”

The redesign infuses Hawaiian and Asian-inspired details such as the puka lava stone exterior and the main dining area’s stunning hand-painted murals by Phoenix-based artist, Nyla Lee. Japanese characters throughout the murals translate to “Hawaii,” “Waikiki,” and “Oahu Island” also known as “The Gathering Place.” The largest mural acts as a showpiece, inscribed with a famous Chinese proverb that translates to “Be not afraid of going slowly, be only afraid of standing still.”

The open layout includes expanded seating with giant windows and doors bringing in natural light and connecting with the beautiful outdoor surroundings. The two-story restaurant expands to two al fresco dining options: (1) patio seating under shade umbrellas on the ground floor for a casual setting; and (2) balcony seating on the second floor, offering a more exclusive experience.

The new menu features an expanded sushi selection with Rainbow Roll with kani kama, cucumber, Hamachi, cured salmon and ahi; Battle of the Seas Roll made with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado, sriracha, crispy shallots and umami sauce; Hamachi Sashimi featuring sliced Hamachi, roasted jalapeño, marinated daikon and spicy ponzu sauce; and Vegas Roll, which is a tempura-battered roll with cured salmon, cream cheese, jalapeño and umami sauce. Refreshing new cocktails include Zen Garden featuring The Botanist Gin, lemon, pure cane sugar and butterfly pea flower extract; The Tourist featuring Hatozaki Finest Japanese Whiskey, ginger liqueur, bitters, lemon, orange and egg white; and Golden Crane made with Don Julio Blanco Tequila, plum wine, grapefruit, lemon and cinnamon. QR code menus will be offered in multiple languages that cater to the uniquely diverse clientele of international visitors and locals alike.

The formerly franchised location is now owned and operated by P.F. Chang’s China Bistro Inc. The newly renovated 10,000-square foot Hawaii location is the second flagship restaurant, following the establishment of the first at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.,

“We look forward to welcoming back guests and delivering a dynamic and celebratory dining experience,” said Art Kilmer, P.F. Chang’s COO. “We value the opportunity to serve our guests in this new flagship location and have put great care into showcasing the best of P.F. Chang’s here, from upscale environment to elevated cuisine.”

P.F. Chang’s is located in Royal Hawaiian Center’s Building A on the 1st and 2nd levels of the shopping center. Open Sunday-Thursday 11am-11pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-midnight.
