THE COLOR OF AUTUMN (Love Poem)

This love story is based on true events. Names and dates have been omitted to protect the innocent.

The lock of hair that you gave me
has been lost
but I still have the memory
of your long finger nails
painted to match the crimson
of your lips
and your dark eyeliner
heavily applied
that made you look like a Hollywood movie star
you were the misty colors of autumn
and I was your teenage lover

Your love letters are carefully wrapped in tissue
tied in ribbon
and kept in my box of memories
along with the seven singles that we danced to
and some old photographs

You wrote
‘give me two years of your life and I would be happy’
I replied ’I’ll give you twenty and we would still want more’
(decades seem like eternities when you’re seventeen)
those words were a prophecy that turned out to be true
and now I would give anything
for just two more hours with you

“Cry Me a River,” Justified‘s second single a track largely assumed to be an autobiographical take on their split likely would have eclipsed its predecessor “Like I Love You,” with its lyrics alone: “You don’t have to say what you did / I already know, I found out from him.” But when the video dropped, featuring 18-year-old blonde model-actress Lauren Hastings, a Spears doppelgĂ€nger down to the newsboy hat, well, it seemed awfully deliberate. Suddenly Timberlake had a runaway hit and Spears had some ‘splaining to do. 

Timberlake had reached out to inform her that he’d cast a lookalike to appear opposite him, but it was still tough to process. Seeing the video while on vacation, “I was kind of in denial, like, I went into this whole denial phase or whatever,” she explained to Sawyer. “I don’t want to judge him or anything like that, because that’s the way he had to deal with what happened. And that’s fine.”

Still, she continued, “I know if I was in a relationship and something happened, I just, I couldn’t really go there.” Sure, her single “Everytime” in which she sang “My weakness caused you pain / And this song’s my sorry” seemed to be about Timberlake. But, as she stammered to Sawyer, “I’ll let the song just speak for itself.”

Chocolate Tres Leches Cake
Serves 6-8
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Candyland Creations cooking milk chocolate 250g
Chocolate Cake:
-Doodh (Milk) warm œ Cup
-Sirka (Vinegar) 1 tsp
-Anday (Eggs) 3
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 1 Cup
-Dahi (Yogurt) œ Cup
-Vanilla extract 2 tsp
-Cooking oil Ÿ Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 2 Cups
-Cocoa powder Ÿ Cup
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp
-Baking powder œ tsp
-Baking soda 1 tsp
Chocolate Milk Syrup:
-Doodh (Milk) hot 1 Cup
-Cooking milk chocolate chopped 125g
-Instant coffee 1 tsp
-Condensed milk œ Cup
-Cream 200 ml
Whipped Cream Frosting:
-Water as required
-Whipping cream 500ml
-Cooking milk chocolate 125g
-Ice cubes
-Icing sugar 4-5 tbs
-Milk chocolate (melted)

Directions:
-Chop coarsely cooking milk chocolate then divide into two equal parts (125g each) & set aside.
Chocolate Cake:
-In a bowl,add milk and vinegar,whisk well and rest it for 5 minutes.
-Add eggs,caster sugar & beat well.
-Add yogurt & beat again.
-Add vanilla essence,cooking oil,beat well & set aside.
-In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,cocoa powder,salt,baking powder and baking soda & mix well.
-Gradually add dry ingredients & beat again on low speed after each edition (Don’t over beat the mixture).
-Grease 11×7” inch baking pan with cooking oil.
-Pour prepared batter,tab slightly & bake in preheat oven at 170C for 35-40 minutes (on middle rack) or until wooden skewer comes out clean.
-Take out from the oven & let it cool completely then loose the sides of the cake,flip the cake from upside down & poke holes with the help of wooden skewer.
Chocolate Milk Syrup:
-In a jug,add milk,cooking milk chocolate & let it melt and whisk until well combined.
-Add instant coffee,condensed milk,cream and whisk well.
-Now pour prepared chocolate milk syrup and let it absorb,cover with cling film & refrigerate for 2 hours.
Whipped Cream Frosting:
-On a double boiler,add water and bring it to boil.
-Place a bowl,add whipping cream,cooking milk chocolate (125g),turn off the flame and whisk until chocolate melts.
-On a large bowl,add ice cubes and place another bowl,add chocolate & cream mixture and let it cool down then beat until fluffy (approx. 5-6 minutes).
-Add icing sugar & beat until soft peaks form (approx. 7-8 minutes).
-Remove cling film and spread prepared frosting on the cooled cake & level with spatula and refrigerate until chilled.
-Drizzle melted milk chocolate,cut into desired pieces & serve!

What’s This TV Show About?

Airing on The CW television network, Nancy Drew stars Kennedy McMann, Scott Wolf, Maddison Jaizani, Alex Saxon, Leah Lewis, Tunji Kasim, and Riley Smith. Nancy Drew (McMann) is a brilliant teenage detective whose sense of self had come from solving mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine – until her mother’s untimely death derails Nancy’s college plans. She and her close friends, aka the Drew Crew, ultimately discover the stunning truth about Lucy Sable, the ghost who’d been haunting Nancy. Will The CW cancel or renew Nancy Drew for season three? Though the linear ratings aren’t very high, this show reportedly does well in digital viewing. Ti West's Ensemble Horror Pic X Adds Brittany Snow to Roster

Ti West’s ensemble horror pic X adds Brittany Snow to roster

Just a few months after the project was first announced to be in development at indie powerhouse studio A24, Ti West’s horror pic X has continued to expand its ensemble roster with the addition of Brittany Snow (Would You Rather), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Plot details are currently unknown at this time, but the film is said to be akin in tone and story to West’s past horror films and the 40-year-old filmmaker is set to write and direct the project, which will include Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi (Bill & Ted Face the Music), Jenna Ortega (Scream 5) and Mia Goth (Mayday) in its cast.

The film, which is currently eyeing an early 2021 production start date, is set to be co-produced and co-financed by A24 and BRON Studios, with A24 producing alongside Jacob Jaffke, Kevin Turen, Sam Levinson and Ashley Levinson via their Little Lamb Productions banner, while Mescudi is set to executive produce the project.

West’s last feature project was the 2016 western pic In The Valley of Violence starring Ethan Hawke (The Good Lord Bird) and John Travolta (Die Hart), which received rave reviews from critics and audiences though was a financial disappointment. His previous horror efforts include The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, segments of V/H/S and The ABCs of Death and The Sacrament, as well as episodes of MTV’s Scream, Cinemax’s Outcast and Fox’s The Exorcist and Wayward Pines.

Ortega, who is currently filming the highly-anticipated Scream revival from Radio Silence (Ready or Not), was most recently seen in Netflix’s horror comedy sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen, while Mescudi has graced both the big and small screen this year with HBO’s We Are Who We Are and the well-received threequel Bill & Ted Face the Music. Goth has made a name for herself in the horror genre with films such as A Cure for Wellness, Marrowbone and Suspiria, though was last seen in the period romantic comedy Emma.

Vindata Announce Their Debut Album, ‘…With Opened Eyes’ Out This Summer on Monstercat

Vindata are legends in the dance music scene, even if some fans who got into the culture in the past couple years might not have heard of them. (Seriously, they’ve worked with Anderson .Paak, Mija, Ellie Goulding, A-Trak, Jack Ü, and more.) After 2016, they only released a handful of tracks — not quite a hiatus but a slow down to be sure.

Now, they’re preparing to release an anticipated debut album, 
With Opened Eyes, in June on Monstercat.

Giving fans a taste of the forthcoming project, they’ve unveiled the first two singles, “Good 4 Me” and “Union,” both launching into the high-octane video game Rocket League this month. The two-track offering is a testament to Vindata’s distinct sonic palette, marrying raw hip-hop beats with soulful electronic grooves rooted in their gospel upbringing.
