The San Francisco Chronicle went to Downtown Disney on the day that Buena Vista Street opened to guests, and the experience was, simply put, madness. Arriving at 8:30 AM, 90 minutes before Downtown Disney would open to the public, it was 10:30 AM before the reporter was able to make into Downtown Disney and another three hours before they were allowed onto Buena Vista Street. At that point, an attempt to secure a table at the Carthay Circle Lounge was attempted, but three and a half hours later, a table had yet to be obtained. That’s basically a whole day of waiting with very little to show for it.

Guitar Center has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy along with efforts to restructure and refinance the company.
Even before the pandemic happened and the shutdown began, online retailers such as Sweetwater became direct and fierce competitors with Guitar Center. Still, the nation’s largest retailer of music instruments expects to bounce back from bankruptcy by the end of the year. Guitar sales are apparently soaring as more people are finding time to explore musical hobbies — and Black Friday is just around the corner.
According to a report from Billboard, the newly approved restructuring support agreements (RSA) aims to slash Guitar’s Center $1.3 billion-dollar debt by approximately $800 million. Also according to Billboard, that number includes $375 million in Debtor-In-Possession financing and $335 million in new senior secured notes.
Guitar Center CEO Ron Japinga explains via press release:
This is an important and positive step in our process to significantly reduce our debt and enhance our ability to reinvest in our business to support long-term growth. Throughout this process, we will continue to serve our customers and deliver on our mission of putting more music in the world.
Across the US, Guitar Center currently owns 300 flagship stores and 200 Music & Arts stores, which specialize in band and orchestral instruments.

After initially shutting down rumors that he had been cast to replace Johnny Depp in the role of Gellert Grindelwald for Fantastic Beasts 3, Deadline reports that Hannibal alum Mads Mikkelsen has officially been cast by Warner Bros. to take over as the main antagonist for the next installment in the Harry Potter prequel franchise.

Sources previously reported that David Yates, currently at work shooting the next installment in the Harry Potter prequel franchise, came up with a list of potential actors to replace Depp in the villainous role and that Mikkelsen was his first choice and now the studio has reportedly officially signed the 54-year-old Danish star to take over the part. Depp was asked to depart due to his losing his lawsuit against a British tabloid for libel, but is reportedly still being paid his full salary for the film despite only having shot one day of film.
Fantastic Beasts 3 will again feature the return of Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Ezra Miller as Credence, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, and Jessica Williams as Professor Eulalie Hicks. Warner Bros. is currently recasting the role of Gellert Grindelwald following Depp’s exit.
The third installment will again be directed by David Yates from a screenplay written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. The third movie in the franchise is currently filming in the UK.

The previous film in the Harry Potter prequel franchise, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, earned $653 million at the worldwide box office. The first two Fantastic Beasts movies were directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling, and produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves, and Lionel Wigram.
Fantastic Beasts 3 is set to hit theaters on July 15, 2022.

Bad Bunny has announced his third album of 2020: The 16-track El Último Tour del Mundo follows March’s YHLQMDLG and May’s Las Que No Iban a Salir. The record arrives Friday (November 27), and features songs with Rosalía, Jhay Cortez, and ABRA. Bad Bunny announced the news earlier today in a tweet. 2020 has been a banner year for Bad Bunny. Back in January, before dropping YHLQMDLG, he shared the Kobe Bryant tribute song “6 Rings.” The following month, he played in the 2020 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Soon after, YHLQMDLG debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and became the highest-charting Spanish-language album ever.
In April, once the coronavirus sent the world into lockdown, Bad Bunny participated in a Saturday Night Live sketch called “Big Papi Cooking Show.” He played “Big Bunny” and tried to sell viewers “big ass pots” and sweatpants.
Later in the year, in September, Bad Bunny performed an excellent livestream concert on Univision’s Uforia platform. Soon after, he brought Ivy Queen and Nesi with him to the Billboard Music Awards to perform “Yo Perreo Sola.” He then performed “Bichiyal” and “Si veo a tu mamá” at the 2020 Latin Grammy Awards, where he won Best Reggaeton Performance. Bad Bunny was set to sing “Dákiti” at the American Music Awards, but was forced to cancel his performance after testing positive for COVID-19.
Earlier this week, Bad Bunny was nominated for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album (YHLQMDLG) and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Un Día (One Day)”) at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
