Even though Shaun White has already competed in Turin, Vancouver, Sochi and PyeongChang on Team USA’s snowboarding team, that doesn’t mean he’s any less stoked to get to Beijing for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
“Every Olympics presents a new challenge and it’s fun and it’s fulfilling,” the global brand ambassador for KRAVE Jerky exclusively shared with E! News. “It’s so fulfilling to learn a new trick and have a goal. There’s ups and downs. It’s living. It’s great and usually there’s something amazing at the end, win or lose. I’m excited about the journey of it all.”
Before sports fans question whether a 35-year-old snowboarder has what it takes to be the best in the world, Shaun says his age gives him an advantage: experience. At the same time, he realizes that his Olympics future may be uncertain after he earns a spot for 2022.

Quantic Dream Star Wars Game Set During High Republic
Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human developer Quantic Dream is reportedly making a Star Wars game. The studio has yet to confirm or deny these reports, but it seems as though there’s more evidence that points towards its existence as another report has stated its alleged setting and codename.

As picked up by Eurogamer, GameBeat’s Jeff Grubb spoke about Quantic’s Star Wars game during his weekly show on Giant Bomb, Grubbsnax. Grubb stated that it is taking place during the High Republic era of Star Wars and is codenamed Star Wars Eclipse. Grubb said he though it would be shown off before the end of the year. And while an announcement like this could trickle out whenever, The Game Awards show is a likely candidate. The annual show is slated for December 9 at 5 p.m. PT.
The High Republic hasn’t been explored much in films or video games. Regardless, the High Republic era begins centuries before the Skywalker Saga and is thought of as the “golden age” of the Jedi. Earlier this year, Lucasfilm set forth an initiative to explore this period by telling an “interconnected mega-story” through “books, comics, and magazines.” While video games were not specifically mentioned, a video game like this could potentially slot into this multifaceted venture.

Your EDM Guest Mix: Hillsdom Take Fans on an Hour-long Tour of “Fauxtopia” and More
The melodic, diverse and very UK sounds of Hillsdom seemed to come more or less out of nowhere a few years ago with their big label debut on Viper’s Drum & Bass Summer Slammers 2017. That’s certainly an effective way to make an entrance, and they’ve been churning out those slammers ever since. With a mature and well-developed sound pretty much from jump, Hillsdom have released loads of work on Viper, had a single on Simon Bassline’s almost impossibly tough to sign label Technique, UKF’s cheeky underground imprint Pilot. and, most recently on RAM and its sister label Program.
It seems Program has really agreed with Hillsdom, as after their first two sets of singles, “Tell Me Your Lies”/”Stone Soul” and “I Wonder”/”Igloo” released in January and July, respectively, RAM have decided to drop two of the duo’s best-received singles to date, “Fauxtopia” and “Gaslight” featuring Maddy on vocals. Released in early October, these two tracks are quite different, with “Fauxtopia” being a deep, synth-driven and introspective track with lots of dancefloor power and “Gaslight” hitting more melodic, liquid vibes. These two tracks are a testament to why Hillsdom have taken off like they did: diversity and quality.
With even more on the horizon, the Hillsdom boys have decided to commit a mix to memory of all the great stuff they’ve done so far and Your EDM has it. Beginning as it should with “Fauxtopia,” the 57-minute exclusive mix once again proves the Essex duo’s eclectic style and thumbs a nose at the idea that one can’t mix multiple styles in the same set. By the ten minute mark, they burn through deep D&B, dancefloor, melodic and ameny jungle seamlessly.
Another act who’s clearly thumbing their noses at being pigeonholed by subgenre, Hillsdom make technically super-clean work that is instantly recognizable as Hillsdom but run the gamut style-wise. This mix is all over the board in the best possible way and a great way to celebrate their signing to RAM.

In the wake of other greats of flamenco jazz, such as Chano Domínguez, Dorantes or Marco Mezquida, the pianist Daniel García, a native of Salamanca and a student at Berklee College in Boston, where he received the award for the best jazz performance in 2011, is leading this modality of jazz, so identified with Spain, towards new horizons.
His quality as a composer and his brilliant performance as a performer have not gone unnoticed in Europe, and the prestigious German record label ACT has released his album “Travesuras” which he recorded with two magnificent Cuban musicians, Reinier “El Negrón” on the double-bass and Michael Olivera on the drums. In this first visit to San Javier the Trio will be joined by the extraordinary violinist Maureen Choi.

To Make Masala Powder
Coriander Seeds – 1 Tbsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Peppercorns – 1/4 Tsp
Fenugreek Seeds – 1/4 Tsp
Sesame Seeds – 1 Tsp
Red Chilli – 5 No
To Make Tamarind Curry
Tamarind – 1 Cup
Oil – 4 Tbsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Peanuts – 1 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli – 4 Nos
Asafoetida Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Method:
1. Put tamarind in a large bowl and add hot water to it. Let it sit.
2. Add coriander seeds, chana dal, urad dal, peppercorns, fenugreek seeds to a pan and heat.
3. Add sesame seeds and roast. After a few seconds, add red chilies and roast until everything turns golden brown.
4. Transfer to a plate and cool the ingredients completely. Add them to a mixer jar, add asafoetida powder and grind into fine powder. Keep this masala powder aside.
5. For the tamarind curry, add oil to a pan and heat.
6. Add chana dal, urad dal, peanuts and roast for about 2 mins.
7. Then add mustard seeds, red chilies, asafoetida powder, curry leaves and saute.
8. Squeeze the pulp off tamarind and pour the tamarind puree into the pan.
9. Add turmeric powder, rock salt, mix and cook for 10 mins on medium flame.
10. Add jaggery powder, ground masala powder. Mix and cook for another 5 mins.
11. Add seasoning if required.
12. Use the required amount of tamarind curry and mix with rice. Let it sit for 30 mins before serving.
13. Store the tamarind paste in glass jar in refrigerator.
14. Serve the tamarind rice after 30 mins with papads by the side.
