Universal Pictures has released a brand new How to Train Your Dragon video for the upcoming live-action remake of DreamWorks Animation’s blockbuster franchise. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 13, 2025.
“On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast, Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society,” reads the official synopsis. “With the fierce and ambitious Astrid and the village’s quirky blacksmith Gobber by his side, Hiccup confronts a world torn by fear and misunderstanding. As an ancient threat emerges, endangering both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future. Together, they must navigate the delicate path toward peace, soaring beyond the boundaries of their worlds and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader.”

The video offers more behind-the-scenes footage from the highly-anticipated remake, giving spotlight to the production team’s incredible work on bringing the Village of Berk to life. It also features a closer look at franchise star Gerard Butler‘s live-action debut as Stoick the Vast, a character he voiced throughout three animated movies.
The live-action How to Train Your Dragon movie is written, directed, and produced by Oscar nominee Dean DeBlois, based on Cressida Cowell’s children’s book series of the same name. The ensemble cast includes Mason Thames as Hiccup, Nico Parker as Astrid, Nick Frost as Gobber the Belch, Julian Dennison as Fishlegs, Gabriel Howell as Snotlout, Browyn James as Ruffnut, and Harry Trevaldwyn as Tuffnut. Additional cast members include Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur. It is also produced by Marc Platt and Adam Siegel, with David Cain and Michael A. Connolly executive producing.
As Smerz, Catharina Stoltenberg and Henriette Motzfeldt are interested in the uncanny valleys and surreal messes of young adulthood, down to the Bama rush-meets-Blair Witch cover art of 2018’s Have fun EP. Their forthcoming new record, Big city life, is a series of nights out on the town plumed in cigarette smoke, and “Feisty” might be the rowdiest of the bunch, like an episode of Girls (which turned 13 yesterday) in miniature. Time skips around when you’re on the verge of blacking out, and Stoltenberg’s droll narration glimpses the moments—checking your ass in the bathroom mirror, running into the guy you matched with on Tinder months ago, futilely petitioning the DJ to change the track—that disappear in a strobe flash. With chintzy string stabs and grime-caked live drums, she and Motzfeldt are on their ESG shit, and the only question worth taking seriously is Can you move to it? Like most parties, “Feisty” ends with a moment of introspection, maybe regret, but I’m partial to this earlier line: “Hey girl, I really wanna be your friend/Let us talk and dance until the end.” The end of the night? The end of time? Out on the floor, it hardly matters.

As per reports, Taylor Swift does not want to be “involved” in her close friend Blake Lively’s lawsuit drama. The pop sensation can reportedly be subpoenaed this week for the Gossip Girl star’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Along with Swift, Hugh Jackman might also be dragged into the case as well.
So, here are all the details of Swift’s perspective on Lively’s lawsuit and why she doesn’t wish to be involved.
Close sources of the Grammy-winning artist claim that she does not want to be involved in Blake Lively’s legal battle against her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni.
As per ET Online, Taylor Swift has no direct involvement in Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni. However, the actress has mentioned the singer’s name during the movie’s promotions. When a reporter asked her about using Swift’s song in the trailer, Lively revealed, “She has been with me during this process the whole time.”
Additionally, Baldoni leaked a series of alleged texts of Lively where she apparently alluded to Swift as one of her “dragons.” She wrote, “If you ever get around to watching ‘Game of Thrones,’ you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons.”
Lively allegedly added, “For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.” Moreover, a previous report from Page Six claimed that Swift did not appreciate being “referred to” as one of Lively’s “dragons.
Taylor Swift’s popular track, “My Tears Ricochet,” is also a part of Baldoni and Lively’s movie, It Ends With Us. He also claimed that Lively utilized her friendship with Swift to put pressure on certain decisions.
Meanwhile, new reports claim that the “Champagne Problem” singer may not be able to avoid Blake Lively’s lawsuit drama. Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman could get a subpoena this week regarding the actress’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. The source revealed, “It could happen at any time.” (Via Daily Mail)
Jackman, a friend of Lively and Ryan Reynolds, was not part of any official promotions of It Ends With Us. However, the sources say that the actor helped promote the film by participating in a “group shot for the cross-promo with Deadpool.”

Chad Stahelski and Henry Cavill’s Highlander reboot is moving studios, with THR reporting that the project has left Lionsgate.
The report mentions that the project, which has been in development for nearly 10 years now, is now headed to Amazon MGM Studios. THR notes that Amazon is in “final negotiations” to acquire the project, with United Artists’ Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt producing the movie under the new deal.
Plot details for the new Highlander film remain unknown at this time; however, Chad Stahelski previously said that it will incorporate elements and characters from both the film franchise and the television series. “We’re trying to do a bit of a prequel — a setup to The Gathering — so we have room to grow the property,” Stahelski said.
Stahelski also said Cavill’s Highlander could lead to more films and television series.
“We have ideas for days for the coolest characters [that could make for] an epic TV show,” he said. “I just think that’s rich mythology when you can pick any period of time, any nationality, any culture, any type of person and make them an immortal that have to duel and deal with the burden of immortality — that’s f—ing cool.”
The original Highlander was released in 1986. Directed by Russell Mulcahy, the movie starred Christopher Lambert as Connor McLeod, an immortal swordsman who has to battle other seemingly-invincible beings in order to save humanity.
