When we last heard from Alex G, the Philadelphia native was splitting his time between co-writing Halsey songs and composing eerie soundscapes for Jane Schoenbrun’s 2024 leftfield horror film, I Saw The TV Glow. On “Afterlife,” the first song from his upcoming 10th (!) album, and first for RCA, Headlights, he seems to take inspiration from Schoebrun’s paranoid and fantastical worldview as he sings about running between “heaven and a TV screen.” Over a twinkling mandolin, he sings about a “light” that’s “big and bright,” an amorphous energy that seems to both frighten and fascinate him—it’s hard not to think of I Saw The TV Glow and its protagonists, desperately longing for another dimension through hours of late night television.

Alex G has built a discography on slanted rhythms that sound just a note or two away from an uncanny childhood memory, like listening to a music box in a dream. Here, this takes the form of an organ-like synth that hums to life halfway through the song like a wayward rendition of “Walk of Life.” That chiming mandolin and wavering synth, combined with Alex G’s pinched falsetto halfway through, create a sense of artificial brightness, a flood light shining down on one man’s quest for meaning. But Alex G is looking outward: He would rather be “rolling in the tiger grass” or reminiscing about his horse than searching for signals through static.

Fans think the upcoming 2025 AMAs will turn into a “Taylor Swift concert,” as the rumors suggest the singer might drop the release date of announcements of Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

Currently, there is no confirmation regarding the “Bad Blood” singer’s performance at the 2025 AMAs. However, fans are hopeful that the singer will surprise them with something new at the Las Vegas ceremony on May 26. The speculation regarding Swift’s 2025 AMA performance and Reputation (TV) announcement got solidified when fans found “clues” from the singer’s website. Swifties also noticed that she has removed all items from Reputation’s merch and kept only six.

On top of that, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) explained, “Reputation is the 6th album. This snippet is released 6 days before the AMAs. “Look What You Made Me Do” is track 6 and has 6 words. This series has 6 seasons and premiered in 2017, the same year when Taylor released Reputation. The 6 is sixing.”

Previously, Taylor Swift also rearranged the main outlook of her website. She kept only four tabs at the front that spell AMAs: Apparel, Music, Accessories, and Sale. With the long history of her easter-egg-building universe, the “hints” seem to be a clear indication of her next project.

Meanwhile, the pop icon officially concluded her album-spanning concert series, Eras Tour, at the end of 2024. According to a recent New York Times report, the total ticket sales of Swift’s concert amounted to approximately $2,077,618,725.

After such an intensive tour, many fans also speculate that Taylor Swift won’t tour again soon. However, nothing prevents her from turning the 2025 AMAs into her concert showcase. Nevertheless, eager Swifties will have to wait for the upcoming awards ceremony to see whether Swift will perform or drop any Reputation (TV) updates.

The singer’s admirers are eager to know about his financial situation after reports suggested that he owes millions to his former manager, Scooter Braun. These rumors arose after Justin’s Instagram posts over the past few months fueled speculations that he and wife Hailey Bieber are nearing a separation.

In the pressing situation, an insider also claimed to Page Six that Braun “stepped in to help him.” However, despite Bieber agreeing to pay the money back in 10 years, he has just made one installment. Thus, fans are concerned about whether he is facing financial difficulties.

Furthermore, in April 2025, rumors of the “Baby” singer being in debt were addressed by his team. They told the US Magazine, “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin. As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

Apart from Justin Bieber’s financial woes, many are also concerned about his well-being over the past few months. Their worries grew after a recent clip from the Coachella festival showed him seemingly being under the influence went viral.

As per sources close to People, the musician’s friend circle is also worried about his situation. They claimed, “He is facing a lot of different demons right now. He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business. People are worried about him.” Meanwhile, Justin Bieber has yet to comment on the speculations about his finances.
