If you’ve enjoyed the Little Voice TV show, this news won’t be music to your ears. The Apple TV+ subscription service has cancelled the romantic comedy-drama series so there won’t be a second season.

The Little Voice TV show stars Brittany O’Grady, Sean Teale, Colton Ryan, Shalini Bathina, Kevin Valdez, and Phillip Johnson Richardson. It is a coming-of-age story set in the diverse musicality of New York. The show explores the universal journey of finding your authentic voice in your early 20s — and the courage to use it. Bess Alice King (O’Grady) is a uniquely talented performer who struggles to fulfill her dreams while handling rejection, dating drama, and family issues.

The show debuted 13 months ago, in July 2020, and ran for nine episodes. Word is that Little Voice did have a devoted audience but it was smaller than other half-hours Apple shows that have since been renewed.

THR reported the cancellation as part of a larger article about one of the show’s producers, Bad Robot Productions.

Building a surprise DIY makeup vanity

So this video is different than the rest of them. I wanted to surprise my lovely girlfriend with their own makeup vanity. But not just any ordinary makeup vanity one that built from the ground up myself. So that’s what I did. I have symbol my father and the great University of YouTube and I went to work. I went to Home Depot, Ikea and Lowe’s to complete this project. It took me two days but overall I love it and it looks wonderful. I can’t wait to see the look on my girlfriend’s face when she sees it in the next video.

This July, Süzer Plaza and The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul are delighted to welcome world-famous restaurant NOBU, from chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro, to Turkey. The launch will see the restaurant group’s first venture in Istanbul, with the menu featuring exclusive dishes that will showcase Nobu’s signature style with a Turkish twist.

Since opening its doors in New York in 1994, NOBU, with chef Nobu at the helm, has become a leading global figure in Nobu-style cuisine, due to chef Nobu’s respect for time-honoured classic Japanese dishes fused with inventive Peruvian flavours and cooking techniques. As well as a selection of exclusive dishes only found in Nobu Istanbul, the menu will feature an array of their famed ceviches, tartrates and tiradito as well as their Black Miso Cod, all made with the freshest of ingredients.

Following a major renovation in 2019 of the Süzer Plaza and The Ritz-Carlton, NOBU Istanbul will be housed alongside a new lobby lounge, open-air terrace and bar. Designed by Severine Tatangelo of PCH Design Studio Architect, NOBU Istanbul will feature a 1000m² two-story restaurant with its own entrance offering stunning views of the Bosphorus and Istanbul skyline.

The Süzer Plaza, located in one of Istanbul’s most sought after areas, is a multifunctional living space with hotels, residences, offices including the Consulate of Brazil, Argentina, Australia and South Korea, as well as housing an art gallery. Built by Süzer Group, one of Turkey’s oldest and well respected companies, the Süzer Plaza is set against the backdrop of the iconic Bosphorus shores, providing a perfect blend of culture, hospitality and sophistication at the heart of the world’s crossroads between Asia and Europe.

Of the launch Chef Nobu says: ‘The historical background of Istanbul will bring a completely different dimension to the restaurant and the city’s high energy and classic Turkish flavours will perfectly blend with our distinguished menu’.

Baran Süzer, Vice Chairman of Süzer Group says of the opening: ‘Nowadays, when investments in the tourism sector are slowing down to a halt around the world, I believe this investment from Süzer Group will add great excitement to Istanbul and significant value to the world of food & drink’.
